THE A & A Music Factory was officially open for business. After a long remodeling process, and press conference that led to a chaotic grand opening, it was finally open.
Dakota, Austin, and Dez were now stood in the practice room as Dez shook up one out the three canned sodas that were placed on the table.
"The rules of the game are simple. First, we shake up this can of carbonation extreme, the most carbonated drink in the world." Dez started.
"Then we shut our eyes and mix them up." Austin continued. The three of them closed their eyes while Austin switched the cans around.
"And now, we open them to see who gets sprayed in the face!" Dez said excitedly as they opened their eyes. "I'll go first."
The redhead reluctantly opened his can only for it to be perfectly fine causing him to let out of breath in relief and giving Austin a high five.
"Whew. Me next." Austin announced. He opened his can to also be marked safe from being sprayed and cheered for himself. "I feel so alive!"
"Your turn, Dakota." Austin mentioned as he and Dez backed up in unison with conniving smiles on their faces.
Dakota raised her eyebrows, "I am not opening that."
"What?"
"Come on."
Trish and Ally walked into the room interrupting the complaints from the two boys.
"Guess who has to do a book report." Trish announced. "On some stupid book called, The Lonely Maiden's Journey. This is horrible! What am I supposed to do?"
"Well, I think- I think you're supposed to read the book and then write about it." Dakota sarcastically replied.
Trish paused for a moment before shaking her head, "Nah. Anyone got any better ideas?"
"Oh! You could do what I always do. Instead of writing book reports, I make a video about the book, and I always get a good grade." Dez suggested.
"He lets me act in them." Austin added. "Last week, I got to be Antony and Cleopatra."
"Why didn't you have Dakota be Cleopatra?" Ally asked.
"Oh no he did. I said no." Dakota stated.
"Why?" Ally asked.
"She wanted me to have my time to shine since she thought I'd be amazing at it." Austin said proudly as he wrapped an arm around Dakota.
"Exactly." Dakota agreed even though her face told another story.
The real reason was Dakota did not trust Dez at all. And anything that involved an in control Dez and an oblivious Austin, never worked out. So, she just told Austin that she thought he would be so much better at playing both roles on his own since he's "a star" as as put it.
