• the beach

It was now the last day of my short vacation and a victory to myself that I get to sit back and relax as I watch my three new friends chase each other in cars.

Scaramouche decided to give me a break considering the final was coming up tomorrow and I needed as much mental preparation, considering I might lose my shit.

I rolled over in my bed and felt something or someone cuddled up in a ball in the bed.

I opened my eyes immediately, wide eyed, to see a sleeping giant next to me with that familiar red eyeliner that is now smudged.

"ITTO!!" I screamed at him, jumping out of the bed and holding the blanket to cover my body. He stretched his body for a second before sitting up in bed.

"Morning!" He smiled at me and my face deadpanned for a moment, rolling my eyes at him.

"What in Celestia's name are you doing in my room?! More importantly, IN MY BED?!" I chucked a pillow at him but he caught it and used it to lay his head back down on.

"I couldn't sleep last night so I came here. Oh, and you forgot your wallet at the bar last night." He pointed to it on the nightstand next to the bed. I need to stop forgetting that..

"Thanks.. How did you even get in?" I continued to hold the blanket over my body. I'm not exactly sure if this man did anything to me overnight, so for all I know, I could be naked!

"I asked the front desk chick if I could return the wallet to you and that I knew you. She was sweet!" He hopped out of the bed and I noticed him wearing basketball shorts and a black t-shirt.

"Great security they got here.." I mumbled and rolled my eyes. I lifted the blanket to check if I had anything on and thankfully I did.

I threw the blankets back on the bed and swiftly made it so it's one less thing the cleaning. lady has to deal with.

"Wanna go grab breakfast before we head over to the beach?" I asked Itto as he was sitting on the chair by the table, scrolling through his phone.

"Boy do I! Are you uh, paying? I'm kinda broke right now.." He chuckled and opened his wallet to prove his point.

I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed a pair of biker shorts and a Gorillaz t-shirt for the day, throwing my hair up in a quick bun.

I was brushing my teeth and scrolled through my phone to check any notifications I received over night.

Some texts from the usual group chat, two from Childe, a text from Thoma, and a surprising text from Zhongli! I always forget that I have his number.

I threw socks and my crocs on and leaned out the bathroom door to look at Itto. He was still on his phone scrolling.

"Ready?" I grabbed my keys and my wallet and opened the door for the tall man to run out of like a child. He was skipping to the elevator, me trailing behind.

"Wanna stay for breakfast here or go out?" I asked Itto, turning to him to give him my attention.

He looked like he thought about it for a second and turned towards me. "Is this cause you don't wanna pay?" He smirked and jammed my arm.

"Pssh, no! It's just easier so we can leave for the beach in our designated vehicles!" I crossed my arms and looked away from him, pouting dramatically.

I heard Itto try to hold his laugh but he let it all out, laughing as loud as he ever so could. God damn you Itto... You and Hu Tao would be great friends.

The door opened and I immediately booked it out and made my way to the cafeteria. I could still hear him laughing behind me as he caught up to me.

"Are you laughing cause I don't wanna pay?" I turned towards him, stopping in my tracks. He smiled down at me and ruffled my hair.
