"Love?" The ray of sunlight blinded my eye.

"Hm?" Narinig ko boses niya sa likod ko. He was hugging me from behind.

"The sun is setting na oh," hinawakan ko ang kamay niya na nakabalot sa bewang ko. "Ang ganda."

Hindi siya umiling. "It isn't." Nakita ko mukha niya, it went from a cute morning face from a masungit boyfie.

Napangiti ako sa kanya. He didn't want to let me go kahit sabi ko na magc-cr ako.

"Ihi ka nalang sa kama." He hugged me tight around my waist and buried his face behind my ear. This was new, he's more clingy than usual.

"Ang baboy mo," napakunat ako ng noo. I turned to face him. He was crying.

I held his face pero hindi pa rin natigil pagtulo ng luha niya. There was something wrong. Sinandal ko ang noo ko sa noo niya. Kahit sobrang lapit na ng mukha namin ay ayaw niya pa rin tumingin sa'kin.

"Love," I said in a soft tone. "May nangyari 'ba?"

He held my hand that was holding his face. Hinalikan niya palad ko. "Wala. I just want to keep you close."

"Well, we can't stay like this forever," I chuckled. I tried to smile at him pars ngumiti rin siya.

"Sumama ka sa'kin sa Cebu," he said all of a sudden. Sa wakas, tinignan niya na rin ako. His eyes were really tired and looked like he cried for hours.

"Love, ang layo 'nun." I felt.. sad. Does him inviting me to come with him to Bohol means that he's going to Bohol? Will he stay there? Will we be away from each other? Kaya 'ba gusto niya ko yakapin nang yakapin?

"I'll pay for you, I'll pay for everything. Please," hinawakan niya ang pisngi ko, "just go with me." He sounded as if he's hiding something.

"Why all of a sudden?" May tinataguan ba siya o di kaya tinatakasan na responsibilidad? Gulong-gulo na 'ko, love.

"I want to start a new life," he kissed my nose. "With you."

"Baby, you know we can do that after college 'di ba?" I chuckled like it wasn't a big deal. 

"We're almost 20, is it weird?" He finally smiled. "I'm sorry-"

I kissed him, cutting him off. "It is but, I'm weird. I love you."

He pouted at first but then smiled at me genuinely. "Do you want to go shopping for your things for Cebu?"

"Ngayon na?" Ani ko kahit mag-aalas sais na. He chuckled softly as he saw how clueless I was. I love his laugh so much, I wish I could always be as funny as his friends para matawa siya sa'kin lagi.

"Syempre sa susunod." He smiled.

"Ayaw mo bukas? Ayaw mo ba everyday tayo magkasama?" Biro ko. Kinunot ko noo ko.

Nagseryoso bigla mukha niya. "Kung pwede lang."

It felt like he said that from the bottom of his heart though his face says otherwise. Alam 'kong maling magdesisyon ng maaga pero I want to make us right again. Gusto ko na malayo sa lahat, even if it means living without Erica. My girl.

"I'll miss my friends." I said out loud. Shit malalaman niyang sad girl ako.
   
    
  
"I'm sorry," saad niya bigla. "Hindi naman kota minamadali. Please, pagisipan mo muna love." He sat up and looked at the window. Dumidilim na pala.
