"Anong what?" He scoffed. "I mean what I said."

 

Tinitigan ko lang siya na parang walang nangyari. I don't know what to say, no one ever confessed to me in person.

 

"I like.. cuddles?"

 

"Ha?" He laughed.

 

"I mean-"

 

Ano ba 'yan Maddie! Magisip ka naman. I couldn't get a grip of myself.

 

"I do too," he casually replied.

 

"Wanna cuddle?" I said out of nowhere. I can sense his second-hand embarrassment for me!

 

"Wait, you're fast."

 

"Don't you like.. fast?"

 

Ang weird ko! I tried thinking for pickup lines or kahit anong topic but nothing was coming up.

 

He suddenly pat me in the head when he saw me panicking.

 

"Goodnight, sleep well." He removed his hand from my head and started walking away without waiting for my response.

 

I didn't know what to do kaya bumalik nalang ako sa room. Bumalik ako sa pagtutulog but I couldn't stop thinking about him.

Stupid, of course maririnig ko 'yon! Out of all the days, bakit pa sa gabi? I can't sleep tuloy, ugh.

Pinagaasar nila ako habang kinuwento ko sakanila ang nangyari kagabi.

 

"Tamo, Ikaw pala 'tong may lhim. Plastik!" Turo sa 'kin ni Bea.

 

"Kapal ah, atleast di ako inuuwi ng 'driver' ko sa bahay nila." Sinungitan lang niya ako.

  

"But what if he means it?" Bea asked.

 

Nagtinginan kami sa isa't isa.

 

"Duh, as if JC is down for a serious relationship," ani Erika.

 

"Ay true ka don," Kaie replied. "I won't expect too much from him if I were you."

 

Tumango-tango si Erika at Bea sakanya. I wouldn't expect too much too.

 

"Hay nako, I'd rather date Gio or Vian!" ani Kaie.

 

"Ayaw mo kay Shan?" Biro ni Erika.
