"You can be a bit cheeky sometimes."

"Sometimes lang?" He pouted, "I'm always like this."

"Oh talaga?"

He chuckled while driving. Gusto niya na lagi akong hinahatid 'pag magkasama kami. This was one of his ways sa kanyang "pangliligaw."

"Yeah, sa'yo nga lang."

"Ano?" I teased even though narinig ko sinabi niya. I miss this feeling, being in love.

"Luh," he sarcastically rolled his eyes.

I laughed as I saw him. He looked at me at his peripheral vision, those hazelnut eyes that shimmers whenever it looks into mine.

"I wonder how to say yes to someone in a creative way." He looked at me, confused.

"I don't like creative things."

"Hm? Bakit naman," I asked. "They're cute, you know. Lots of effort gets put on it."

"Well, bobo kasi ako. Saka honestly, effortless or not, basta it comes from someone na gusto ko maappreciate ko talaga siya." aniya.

"So kung di galing sa taong gusto mo di mo naappreciate?" biro ko.

"Di naman, I just prefer simple things lang talaga when it comes to gifts." He elaborated. "I'm not a creative person myself so, I won't ask for much."

I smiled at him. "Edi sige," tinignan ko siya, "sinasagot na kita."

Napahinto siya sa kalsada. At first I worried kasi he didn't looked happy.

"Madds," he looked at me with a smile. Naguunahan ang nga salita sa bibig niya but as soon as he composed himself, he held my cheek. "You're my girlfriend?"

I smiled and nodded. "Yes, yes I am na."

"I, wow, I think I'm the most blessed man ever."

"Para ka namang tanga 'e," kilig ko.

"Literally." He took his hand of my face and started driving again.

On the way to my dorm, he kept on gazing at me. His gazes weren't just gazes, it felt like someone you love was admiring you.

"May panibago akong dahilan para ganahing pumasok," he smiled.

"So di mo pa pala ako dahilan dati?" I joked.

"Wala pa nga tayong 5 mins inaaway mo na kagad ako 'no."

I smiled. He opened my door as he parked outside of my dorm. I wanted to kiss him but that would be a bit too fast so I wrapped my arms around his chest to embrace him as goodbye.

"I love you, Christina Maddie." He hugged me back.

"Kailangan talaga full name ah," I laughed. "I love you too, Jhaycent Darson."

Binitawan ko siya. I was covered with his vanilla scent.

"Syempre. Goodnight, I'll pick you up everyday from now on," He winked goodbye.

"Ingat paguwi." I waved him goodbye.

I watched him pumasok sa kotse niya. He blinked his car three times. I was confused but he droved off. I went up to my floor. As I got at my dorm, I received 2 text messages from him.
