sorry for the lateish update i have so much school work rn </3 not thriving

Nick POV

Charlie hangs up the second I ask him to come over and within 10 minutes the doorbell is being rung.

I hear my mum greet him at the door before footsteps quickly make their way up the stairs and approach my door.

"Nick?" says Charlie through the door, "can I come in?"

"Yeah." I say, voice cracking slightly.

The door opens and the worry on his face makes me want to cry all over again.

God, why do I have to be so dramatic.

He rushes up to me and pulls me into a hug. We sit there on my floor just hugging silently for god knows how long.

He eventually pulls back and reaches up to push my hair out of my face.

"What happened?" he whispers.

"I just got in my head," I say, looking up at him "I'm just glad you're alright."

"Nuh uh" he presses a finger to my lips, "this isn't about me."

I huff out a laugh and he cheekily smiles at me.

"Do you want to talk about it?" asks softly.

"I just- I just got really in my head then I uh-" I stutter dumbly through my sentence, "it was just like I couldn't breathe and the whole world was just pressing against my chest and my thoughts wouldn't quiet down."

"Oh babe," he says pulling me back into him "seems like you had a panic attack."

A panic attack. God.

I just squeeze him, not bothering to reply.

He drops the topic after that. We end up having a cuppa and watching marvel movies till he had to go home.

I'm really just glad he's ok.
