Hiya! This is probably a long chapter so this will be split into parts and is mostly told from Y/Ns POV.
{Y/N POV}
I had lived in winterwinds for a couple of months, Some of the best Months of my life.
Finally, after the stressing about the festival, it was time, Mumza decided to do my hair in curls. She was dressed like a divine Goddess, a beautiful black dress with white lace and gold accents, her hair done in a bun with her curls noticeably present. I got dressed in causal clothes, a Sunflower off the shoulder with a brown corset belt, rider pants and boots.
I ran downstairs, "Ready to go!" I was radiating with excitement. He chuckled, "Alright you, let's get going before you explode." I heard the Music from the kingdom, I wander around the shops to explore. Looking at Children running and laughing. Listening to the music and dancing with Folk, laughing. Techno smiled to see I was getting alone with the other folk.
"Come on techno!" I grabbed his hands "Come dance!" He shook his head "Sorry Y/N I don't dance" "Says the one who doesn't like sweets and ate most of my pastries." I teased playfully, he sighed in defeat "Alright, One dance." We danced to a folk song, He doesn't dance, what a joke. We ended up dancing for hours.
Near the end of the public festivities, techno and I went up to a tulip field that covered a hill, Although Winterwinds had some seriously frozen winters, with that are some beautiful springs and summers. I layed down with techno in the tulips, laughing and goofing around for a few hours. I sat up and looked at the sunset, "Alright Techno we should head back, big day tomorrow." "I suppose." Techno and I headed back to the castle, I felt uneasy about tomorrows ball.
