You're my love | Chapter 13

DX Nightmare is NOT a cannon character.

[Kristin POV]
My youngest son, Tommy came running into the library, he was crying. "Momma? There's a monster outside!" He wailed "Awwww baby, it's alright Momma will go banish that monster." I picked my youngest son up and walked into his room, his window was open.

"Phil do a sweep of the castle." I warned in Agaric and closed the window. After a few minutes of trying to calm down a crying Tommy, Phil came back and shook his head. "One of the pots where slightly out of place but one of the maids was near by. Someone was camping outside the castle but thankfully it was a traveler." We both sighed in relief.

Young Tommy started to draw a man who looked similar to Dream XD but his XD was backwards and wore crimson. "Momma that's the monster! He says his name is DX Nightmare" My soon showed me his drawing. It was worrying, He wasn't one of the Gods I knew, Phil didn't know who he was either. We had to ignore that for now, We had a drill scheduled.

{Y/N POV}
Techno and I played in the snow for hours, laughing. Techno had a snow ball in hand ready to throw but dropped it. "Darling?"  I asked worriedly, His tone was different, it was worried and serious. "My Love, We need to get inside." He spoke while looking at the trees on the mountain behind the castle, purple smoke arose from the trees. "Alright?" I was confused why but started to head in.

We both entered through the side door that lead from the courtyard into the castle. We put our damp cloaks by the fire. Techno opened a hidden storage next to the fireplace. It contained gas masks. "Put it on" he commanded and I did.

He noticed I was visibly on edge. "Don't worry Love, it's only a drill. We are testing the gas masks. Sooner or later a purple gas will be released into the castle. Keep these on and We'll be ok." He engulfed me in his arms, in a warm embrace.

And like he said a very pigmented purple gas wafted in. He explained that in case of a gas attack from enemy forces, the masks would work and we'd live.

{Techno's POV}
Y/N and I have been dating for over a year, I had never felt this happy. The aftermath of Aster's death was horrible, I was cold hearted, and turned everyone away, but Y/N waltz in as if they were The Northern star in the pitch black night. They were similar to Aster in a few ways and I like to think they were sent to me by Aster herself. I was freed from grief.
Finally I moved on, thanks to Y/N.

Y/N and I traveled all over lands, saw many breathtaking views and made fantastic memories. But the one view they haven't seen was sunsets with the Snow Lights, on top of the mountain behind the castle, where I had a plan that would change them forever.

They were sitting in the library, reading a book as usual. I peaked into the library, "Hey love." I smiled softly, and they smiled back. "Hiya Darling! What's up?" They put their book down and hugged me. I gently took their hands "Come with me, There's s one more view I want you to see." I intertwined our hands and let them to their room. "Get dressed in something warm." I stood outside their door.

{Y/n POV}
Techno asked me to change into something warm, I wasn't sure why but I did. I wore a simple long tunic with thick pants, underneath a vest paired with my winter cloak.

I came out of my room, "Alright Love, where are we going?" I smiled, "Some where secret." He smiled softly and grabbed my hand again and started leading me out and towards the mountain. He was acting strange, what was he planning? Techno led me to the top of the mountain that overhung the castle.

It was beautiful the sunset to the west and to the south was The Snow lights. "It's so beautiful!" I smiled and spun in the snow. Techno was enchanted, it was adorable. I sat on the swing in a very elegant gazebo. The Swing, too, was beautiful.

In the spring all sorts of flowers bloomed on the fake vines that held the flower petal shaped bench, but in the winter non lethal flowers too bloomed on it. It was Winter, the flowers were beautiful, Ice Lilies, Blue roses, all sorts of flowers but one of the roses that made its resident on the back of seat, that looked strange, like it was holding something.

"Love come sit!" I smiled and he did. He took a deep breath and brought the the strange flower towards us. He spoke up and I listened curiously "Y/N, we have been dating for a little more than a year, I have loved you since you took Winterwinds as your home. You were there for my coronation as king, this is my land but I'd like to make this land yours too and wish for you to be mine for the rest of eternity." He twisted the rose's base, it open and there sat a Golden Laurel wreath ring with light blue gemstones.

I gasped a bright red when I saw the ring. I wrapped my arms around him in an embrace and kissed him. "Techno I have never been happier when I'm with you, and I Would love to spend the rest of eternity with you!" I rested my head on his shoulder, I felt him slide the ring onto my ring finger. This was the first time I have felt this happy.
