Worry | Chapter 11

{Techno POV}
We had ridden to our kingdom and I kept Y/N in my arms the whole ride. I couldn't lose them now. We came to a stop in front of the castle, I walked in carrying Y/N bridal style. I layed them on my bed, calling the medical team. The medical team took their time coming up, I took the chance and changed out of the masquerade clothing and into something more loose.

The team started to treat them and their wound, I walked over the sit by them, their eyes fluttered open and widened in a panic, I grabbed their hand "Hey, Heyheyheyhey, it's ok, the medical team is here and their helping you." I spoke softly and Y/N started to calm down. The medical team finished, "Your grace, you need to take it easy, alright? And the best way to get around is a wheelchair." She spoke and left with the team.

After the med team left, Y/N motioned for me to come closer so I did. They needed the comfort. I brought them closer to me and embraced them being cautious not to cause them pain. Poor thing, why would Dream want to cause them pain.

{Y/N POV}
I felt incredibly out of it and drowsy. I think it was the medicine. I rested in Technos arms, he rested his head on mine "You know we welcome you here and we'll take care of you. Welcome Home Y/N." His mouth curled upwards a bit. I was on the brink of sleep. "I love you techno." I involuntarily muttered softly while I drifted into the void called sleep.

I woke up around 1pm feeling a soft velvet fabric around me, it smelled like Techno. Did he lend me his cape? Finally moved around with a groan of pain, yup it was technos cape, "Well, Good morning." Techno smiled and looked up from his book with reading glasses on and his hair up in a bun showing his pointed ears. "You have glasses?" I yawned, "Uh- yea, it's for reading." He scratched the back of his neck.

He rose from his seat and sat on the bed, "We need to change your bandages alright?" He took a bag assuming, it's medical supplies. It was fairly easy to change bandages but excruciatingly painful. The numbing cream was made of Frost Rose Petals with other flower petals. The disinfectant was made of Green Leafs, Cyanide berries, mint and honey. When the wound was getting wrapped up, he grip me in his arms, he KNEW it hurt.

After the pain layed off, I relaxed in his arms while reading a horror story. "Hey Y/N you said last night that you loved me, did you mean it?" My cheeks flushed instantly, "Yea.." I squeaked and refused to look at him.

It had been a couple months since the war ended, and not surprising Winterwinds won. I loved it here in Winterwinds, the folk were nice, the the views were beautiful, I was happy here in my home.

"Y/n L/N... hmm I don't like that last name, I prefer, Their majesty, Monarch Y/N Blade" he chuckled as he kissed my cheek. I felt like I was about to explode, I didn't know how or what to feel. "Y/N we recently build a garden, would you like to go on a stroll through it?" He asked. "Of course Tech!" I smiled brightly.

After the incident, I was wheelchair bound for now until my side can heal. Techno pushed me as through the garden with some flowers native to Winterwinds. But I saw a purple rose that was slightly red stained in a glass case on a amber colored pillow in the middle of the room. "Techno, what's that purple rose in the middle of the room? Is it the one you requested to be put in your hair before the war?" He smiled and wheeled me over. "It is indeed, I considered this to be a token of peace and love. A blessing you could call it." He brought me over to it and placed his hand on the glass cover. I smiled, I knew Techno loved me and I loved him.
