Paperwork | Chapter 15

{Y/N POV}
Gold and green? Red and gold? UGH too many color options. I sighed in frustration,sitting in my chair in the library, writing color options for the ceremony. "Love have you thought of Royal blue and Ivory?" Chimed techno who didn't look up from his book. My face lit up, I got up to kiss my Fiancé. I kissed his cheek. "You are a genius, darling." I laughed and he kissed me, "I know Love." He chuckled with a grin on his face.

Filling out paperwork for weddings are long. Figuring out the decor, arrangements, the first dance song, and who to invite. I guess this is what I get for falling in love with a king.

I sat at my desk in the library filling out paperwork, I looked at the clock, 12:36 am. I needed more chai, I grabbed my mug, walked to the kitchen and flicked the lever for the water in the kettle to boil. As I waited for the water, I heard it click off?
I turned around, There stood techno putting my tea bag back. He didn't say a thing and picked me up. "Techno! What are you-?" I sighed, I was too tired to fight back and He brought me to our bed, gently laid me down and flopped on the other side. He was tired and didn't want to wait for me.

I'd often sneak into his room to snuggle up and read books even before he proposed and he had gotten use to it, a little too much.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close, like a child and their favorite teddy bear. He buried his face into my hair. Although he was the blood god he had a very soft side, and it was adorable.
This went on for a week, paperwork and sometimes have to tear me away from my desk.
And Finally the last signature was written on the paper. I sighed and sank into my chair, "Finally, it's all taken care of" the rest was up to Kristin. Although Phil was the Royal advisor Kristin did everything else, like event planning and making it happen, damn, she was good at it.
