The next morning Aya awoke to the smell of coffee drifting through the air, though as enticing as the smell was, it didn't help that she felt like utter shit. Her arm and shoulder were throbbing, causing pain to radiate through her body as if she had been hit by a rock, hard against her shoulder. Fuck my life. She groaned, her hand moving to her shoulder as she tried her best to sit up on the couch just before her alarm on her phone started to go off. Keishin, already awake and sipping on his coffee in the kitchen, was quick to grab some pain killers from his bathroom the moment he heard her. He left his mug on the counter before hand only to return and grab a cup of water. He walked into the living room to crouch down in front of her and hold out the two pills for her to take. "Here. Take a couple of these, they should help." He said as Aya glanced over to him with tired eyes. She silently took the pills without question, popping them in her mouth before grabbing the glass of water to wash them down. "You sure you can get through school today?" He asked, grabbing her phone to silence the alarm as she just simply sighed and remained quiet for a moment.

"Have to." She managed to finally say, knowing what was on her plate today. She had promised the boys volleyball team that she'd give them her answer on whether or not she'd except to be one of their managers, so she had to go. Aya wasn't one to go back on her word no matter how she felt or what she was going through, the only problem was, making the decision. She missed volleyball so much it hurt, feeling as though her wings had been clipped the moment they were about to finally touch the sky. Even so, she couldn't shake the feeling she had when she was watching them yesterday and going through Kiyoko's notes as if she were already part of the team. It did feel pretty great. Maybe Daichi was right? This could be good for her... She'd also get to be with Kiyoko again. But she couldn't let herself get close to anyone, not with the Yakuza on her ass, trying to drag her back to their damn compound. Why couldn't her life be normal?

Keishin sighed and got back up to his feet. "Well, I made a pot of coffee if you want any. There's a mug already out on the counter for you." He said, pointing to the kitchen. "I'm heading out for a smoke." He took off out the balcony door, leaving Aya alone.
She sat there for a good moment, trying to find the strength to get up to her feet before she finally found her will and slugged into the kitchen. Grabbing the mug she saw, she poured herself some coffee, leaning against the counter to enjoy it. When she was done, she headed back over to her bag by the couch to make sure everything was still there, packing her phone charger before getting one of the straps on her good shoulder. She figured she'd change into her school uniform once she made it to the school. Without another word, she left the apartment through a different door finding that it lead to stairs on the right side of the building. She descended them to the ground below and started to make her way to school, her tired eyes keeping aware of her surroundings along the way.

A good moment had passed while Keishin was smoking out on the balcony, enjoying the peace and quiet of the back alley. After putting his cigarette out, he decided to head back into the living room only to find that Aya was no where to be seen. "Aya?" He called out as he walked back towards the bathroom before heading back to the living room to find that her school bag was gone. Damn...I was going to offer her a ride. He commented to himself, scratching his head before deciding to head downstairs to open his shop. He hoped that the stubborn fool would accept his offer and stay here though if she didn't come back tonight he figured that would be his answer. Even so, he couldn't help but worry. The little she did tell him just made him beyond concerned, especially with those thugs that seemed to have no care or respect what's so ever. She needed to start fighting for change, for a better life though she held so much fear. He couldn't blame her, but she also couldn't keep doing this alone. I hope they don't give me trouble today. He groaned, thinking about Jo and his thugs as he opened his safe and set up his till before making sure all of the money was accounted for. Once he was ready, he unlocked the doors and flipped on his open sign before sitting back behind the counter trying to preoccupy his mind to keep it off of her and them otherwise he would drive himself mad.
