Pain, Sadness, Agony three different words with one meaning and definition, mixed in one body and heart, that is what Celestine's feeling right now, "Celestine I just noticed, you became more quiet that before" Josh said to her and Janine nodded her head in agreement
"The three of us grew up together, are you still not use to it" Celestine asked them, "I mean I'm used to it na, pero it just felt so different na super tahimik mo" Aton said to her as the three of them walk in the Athenaeum to get some books
"I have these books already" Celestine said, trying to change the topic, so she will not answer the question that's really personal "then what are we doing here if you have those already" Janine asked Celestine
"athenaeum is my comfort zone, it's the only place where I found peace and quietness, call me boring but this is me" Celestine said, Janine and josh don't know if they'll feel pity or just understand her, because of her situation, even though they knew Celestine since they were a baby, there is also times that Celestine is very mysterious when it comes to her problems.
They leave the athenaeum and go directly in the locker room to get their instruments for their music class, "My cello is in the music room already, do you want me to help you carry your violin" Janine said to Celestine
"No need Janine I can manage it, besides it's not heavy at all" Celestine confidently proclaimed while walking, they already arrived at the music room "everyone this is Celestine and Aton, they are the new members in the music club" Miss Cleo introduces them
"Hi Good Morning everyone, My name is Celestine Marcos Araneta, and I started playing variety of instruments at the age of three, I love playing violin and Piano because I found that two really peaceful and soothing, thank you" Celestine said and she sat down in a chair after introducing herself
The class have started and the students started playing their piece "Celestine your turn" Miss Cielo said to her, Celestine put her chin in the chinrest as she positioned her fingers in the strings, she decided to play Violin sonata no 9 kreutzer by Ludwig van Beethoven, Janine decided to play the piano for her, so the music will go well
After their piece their classmates clap their hands for the two Juniors "well I'm going to say I'm impressed, it's my first time to see such a young musicians playing a hard piece" Miss Cielo praised the both of them
Meanwhile, one student is watching Celestine and Janine in pure jealousy and envy, 'one day they will praise me like how they praise you Celestine just wait and see' she thought while staring at Celestine
"Celestine, why don't we go sa BGC my treat" Janine said to Celestine, Celestine was hesitant because she can't go anywhere without her mother's approval, "yes sure why not, I don't have anything planned for later naman kaya tara" Celestine enthusiastically said
She don't care if she would be rebellious on what she's about to do, she wanted to have time for herself without all the pressure that she has "let's go na, sa car nalang namin tayo mag ride" Josh said while pulling Celestine and Aton
On the other hand, Irene is in BGC with her Amigas for a little get together, "Irene" she heard small said, they make beso with each other "nako it's been a week since we last saw each other" Krisha said as they both entered the restaurant
Alice, Audrey, Dawn, kaye, Christina, Camille, Karen, Joy, Vicky, and Melba is also present to the get together, "how are you guys" dawn asked them as she sat next to Irene "I'm fine as usual" Irene replied shortly
They were talking with each other when small saw her daughter and Celestine entering the restaurant carrying a lot of shopping bags "Josh, Celestine, Janine" Camille said which gained Irene's attention when she heard her daughter's name
"Mom" Janine said enthusiastically as she run towards small to give her a hug and kisses "hi ninangs" Celestine said silently as she avoided her mother's glare at her, "aren't you supposedly at home ha Celestine, what did I say, after school go directly at home, then what on earth are you doing here in BGC" Irene said to her daughter Sternly
Her Amigas knew what will happen next if Celestine talked back, "uhm tita, I actually asked Celestine to assist me, because I'm going to a party next week eh" Janine made a white lie to defend Celestine
"Is that true" Irene asked her daughter, who just nodded nervously "we'll talk at home let's go" she indignantly said to her daughter "small we'll go ahead" Irene said to her friends and she pulled Celestine harshly
On the other hand, Irene's friends are petrified on their position, "mom what if tita Irene do something to Celestine" Janine frantically said "I don't think she will hurt her, Irene maybe not in good terms with Celestine, but it's not on her attitude to hurt a child" Vicky said calmly, but deep inside her, she worries about her goddaughter
"It's my fault, maybe if I didn't asked Celestine to be with me, none of this will happen" Janine admitted "what do you mean" Camille asked her daughter "I asked her to be with me to have some gala" Janine said
"I thought you asked her to helped you for next week's party" her aunt, karen, asked her "well I did make a white lie to defend her, I didn't know that tita Irene will noticed it" Janine said
On the other hand, Irene and Celestine already arrived at their mansion "M-mommy let me go" Celestine pleaded "who taught you how to lie ha" Irene shouted at her daughter, Celestine just looked at the floor while tears are started scaping from her eyes
"Look at me while talking to you" Irene said as she holds on her daughter's chin and lifted her face up "why are you crying, wala pa akong ginagawa sayo" Irene said "a real girl never cry, only weak girls do" Irene said to her daughter
"Don't you dare tell your father about this, kundi matatamaan ka sa akin" Irene said sharply as she harshly let go of her daughter, "go fix yourself ayaw kong umiiyak ka sa harap ko" she said before leaving Celestine alone
As Irene leave, manang Ellen approached her, "Hija Celestine ayos ka lang ba" Ellen asked her, Celestine quickly wiped off her tears and fixed her posture "opo manang, tutulog na po ako" Celestine said as she walked in her room
When she arrived, she immediately locked the door, and she put her hand on her mouth to prevent herself from sobbing so loudly, she glanced at her bruised arm and she cried endlessly
She stand up, and she went to her vanity to fixed her hair, she brushed her hair as she stared at the mirror 'when will you appreciate me mommy, when will you stop comparing me to others, when will you love me, when will you care for me, when will you call me your daughter' Celestine thought as she let her tears fall on her cheeks
After doing her night time routine, she went to her bed as she dimmed her lamp so she can read before sleeping, after an hour of reading, she put her book back to her shelf and she gets her music box and started it to play, imagining that her mom would also sing her a song before going to bed.
