What does heartbreak feels like? For other people it's painful and stressful, but for Celestine heartbreak is normal and part of her 17 years of existence, she experienced that, not from her lovelife but from her mother. Morning came in the Araneta households
Celestine woke up early because she plan to surprise her mother for breakfast as an apology about what happened last night, Celestine went to her closet to change her clothes, she was taught by her mother that a lady always wear a dress.
She decided to wear her, Beige Uniqlo bellow the knee dress, paired with her nude J'Adior Slingback Pump, with a light make-up on her face, she also wore her contact lens, because her mom didn't know that she have a really weak eyesight
After preferring, she turned of the lights but, but leave the aircon open, so if she go back to her room the temperature is not hot, "good morning manang Ellen" Celestine said to the mayordoma "magandang umaga hija, parang ang aga mo ata magising ah" Ellen said
"Yes manang, I have class kasi mamayang 8:30 am, and I plan to cook breakfast for mommy and daddy" Celestine said as she wore her apron, Ellen raised Celestine really well, she taught her that she should not have any hatred and disrelish towards her mother.
"Do you need any help" Greggy said behind his daughter's back "daddy" Celestine cheerfully said to Greggy as she kissed him in his cheeks "good morning nak, how's your sleep" Greggy asked her and Ellen was about to say something when Celestine motioned her to be quiet
"My sleep is well daddy, how about yours, I've heard from mang Jeffrey that you arrived at 3:00 am in the morning" Celestine asked him as she mixed the pancake batter well
"I'm a little bit somnolent, but a little coffee will help" Greggy said to Celestine, they're cooking when Greggy noticed something on his daughter's arm
"Why do you have a bruise on your arm" Greggy asked her and Celestine's narrow eyes went wide "uhm nothing dad, it's just my clumsiness last night" Celestine lied to her father
"Ikaw talaga you're so clumsy yan tuloy, next time be careful ok" He said to Celestine, she nodded her head "ok all done" Celestine proclaimed as she fix the platter.
"Do you want me to call your mom" Greggy asked her "no need daddy I'll bring this to mommy nalang" Celestine said as she carries the tray and walk in the stairs
She arrived at her parents bedroom and she knocked on the door "come in" Irene said that's why Celestine opened the door "good morning mommy, breakfast in bed" Celestine said to her mom joyfully "I'm still full" Irene said with no emotion
"Mommy you haven't eat breakfast kaya, how can you be full, if there's no food in your stomach" Celestine said worriedly "Sabing busog pa ako hindi ka ba nakikinig" Irene shouted at her daughter making Celestine flinch
She dropped the food on the floor "bakit ba tatanga-tanga ka, sabing busog nga ako diba" Irene said and she looked shocked kasi nakita niya na yung platong nabasag ay yung bagong bili lang niya from Versace
"M-mommy I'm sorry" Celestine frantically said habang nililinis yung mga kalat "my plates, bakit mo Binasag" Irene shouted making Celestine dropped her hand sa glass pieces
"What's happening here" They heard Greggy said "Hon look at her clumsiness, nabasag yung mga plates ko" Irene said "Celestine, OMG bakit ka may sugat sa kamay" Greggy worriedly said, completely ignoring Irene's complain
"D-dad ok lang po ako, it's just a small cut, malayo to from the veins" Celestine said "change na, and go to school anak, I'll clean that ok" Greggy said to his daughter and Celestine leave her parents bedroom
When Celestine went out Greggy glared at Irene "What did you do to her" Greggy directly asked his wife calmly, he don't want a fight, he's just wondering how can a mother hurt her daughter
"I didn't do anything to her, she is just clumsy, tignan mo sa pagiging lampa niya, nabasag yung mga plato ko" Irene said to Greggy "so you worry about the plate that Celestine" Greggy asked Irene, but she just remained silent
Greggy hugged his wife "I'll buy you a new one nalang wag ka na magalit ok, I'll replace it nalang" He said as he pecked Irene's lips "did you know that she cooked those foods for you, kahit may pasa na yung kamay niya" greggy said and Irene looked at him
"Ma'am sir, nauna na po si ma'am Celestine sa eskwelahan, kasi meron pa daw po silang klase" yaya Annie said to the couple "may sinabi ba siya bago siya umalis" greggy asked the maid "wala naman po sir, pinagaalmusal ko nga po pero dire-diretso lang siya paglabas ng pinto" saad ni annie
"Hon hayaan mo na, we have the whole day for ourselves kaya, let's enjoy the day without any stress" Irene said to her husband as she kissed Greggy's lips
On the other hand, Celestine is on her way to her school, "ma'am Celestine nandito na po tayo" her driver said to her but she just ignore him and went down the car, "Celestine" she heard Janine and Camille's voice behind her back
Celestine put a pretty convincing smile before turning back "good morning Janine, ninang Camille, oh and ninang vicky" Celestine said to them "hija omg, what happened to your hand why does it have a bandaid what happened" Vicky worriedly asked her goddaughter
"I'm fine ninang it's just my clumsiness kanina" Celestine said to them softly, but this didn't work to convince the two adults to believe her "did your mom hurt you" Camille asked her
"No ninang she didn't, the reason we went home early last night, is because daddy treated us for dinner" Celestine lied to them "oh I thought nag away nanaman kayo" Camille said when the bell rings
"We'll go ahead na po" Janine said to her mother, "take care Janine, I love you" Camille said to Janine as she kissed her forehead and kissed, Celestine is just standing in awkwardness, unbeknown to her Vicky notices her awkwardness
She pulled Celestine into a warm and supportive hug "take care ok, make your mommy proud of you" Vicky said before letting her go "thank you for your encouragement" Celestine said
They said goodbye to each other and they went directly to their respective classrooms, they are in the middle of the class when "Nanay ano po yung ginagawa nyo dito" her classmate said, "tin where is tita Irene, there is a mother's meeting today nasaan siya" Janine asked Celestine
"Celestine" She heard her auntie, Liza Araneta Marcos "mama Liza what are you doing here" Celestine asked her "there is a meeting for mother's, your mom can't make it kasi busy daw siya" saad ni liza sa kanyang pamangkin
"I'll just be at the lavatory" Celestine said quietly as she left the classroom, she arrived at the lavatory and went in an empty cubicle and lock it
She sat down the floor and hugged her knees, she covered her mouth to prevent sobbing…
