Morning came fast, and Irene woke up really early, she wanted to make it up to her daughter by making her a breakfast, she knew that it's not enough but she'll try to win her daughter back, Irene walked in the kitchen and she saw manang Ellen preparing "manang tulungan ko na po kayo" Irene said
"Teka magluluto ka, bago yun ah" Ellen said in dismay "yes manang I want to cook for the both of them" Irene said as she get the milks in the refrigerator, Ellen saw that Irene is holding a normal fresh milk which Celestine don't like "kay Celestine, mas gusto niya yung almond milk, hindi mo ba alam" Ellen said to Irene
Irene look at the milk that she's holding and she's a little disappointed to herself, she don't know her daughter, "then I'll just get almond milk and I'll cook fried rice" Irene said as she prefer the rice
"She don't eat rice every morning, I mean she never eat rice, she prefer to eat oatmeal or pancakes instead of rice and greasy food" She heard her husband behind his back "Good morning hon" Irene said with a smile, she was about to kiss Greggy when he avoided her
"Don't act as if nothing happened last night" Greggy said to Irene coldly "How's Celestine" Irene asked him as she put almond milk in Celestine's cup "I have a hard time on putting her to bed, inatake ng asthma niya kagabi buti nalang nandoon yung inhaler niya" Greggy said as he sat on his chair
Irene remained silent as she tried her best not to cry, she lost her daughter's trust she can't afford to lost her husband's too, "are you mad at me" Irene asked him "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed and you completely lost my trust" Greggy said to his wife as Irene sat next to him
Irene hugged him as she cried on the crooked of his neck "please don't leave me hon, hindi ko kakayanin" Irene said as tears started scaping from her eyes "I maybe disappointed, but that doesn't mean I'll take that as an excuse to ruin our family" Greggy hugged Irene back
"Ma'am, sir, nandito na po si ma'am Celestine" Yaya niks said, "Good morning daddy" Celestine greeted Greggy with a kiss on the cheeks "Good morning nak" Greggy said "Good morning baby" Irene lovingly said to Celestine "don't call me that, only mama liza can call me baby" Celestine said coldly
"I cooked your favorite pancakes nak, come on join me" Irene said and Celestine just looked at her with no emotion "No thanks, baka mamatay pa ako jan, who knows baka nilagyan mo yan ng lason to get rid of me easily" Celestine said to Irene as she put her earpods in her ears "are you leaving already" Greggy asked his daughter
"Yes dad, today is our exam and I can't be late" Celestine said as she kissed Greggy's cheeks before leaving, Irene, on the other hand, is watching them in pure jealousy 'Magiging ganyan kayo ka close kung hindi ka nagpabulag Irene' Irene thought as she watched her mag-ama so sweet
"Do you want me to drop you off" Irene said to Celestine "No thanks mang kanor will drive me na" Celestine said to Irene as she went directly to her car
"Mang Kanor tara na po" Celestine said to her driver as she wiped her tears, Celestine stared at the window and she stared outside with no emotion
After 20 minutes of driving, they already arrived at ISM "ma'am Celestine nandito na po tayo" Kanor said to Celestine, but she just go down the car without a second thought, She crossed the streets without looking at both side
Unbeknown to her, while she walked in the middle of the highway, a car was about to hit her when a man pulled her "Miss marunong ka bang tumingin sa dinadaanan mo" The unknown man shouted at making Celestine came back to reality
"W-what" Celestine asked him "miss alam mo ba yung rules na stop, look, and listen my ghad miss sa ganda mong yan napaka hina ng comprehension mo" the guy said "wow so ako pa yung mahina yung comprehension, sinabi ko ba na iligtas mo ako diba hindi" Celestine fight back and she looked at the guy
"Marco?" She asked in reasurrance "yes how did you know me" Marco said and Celestine pulled him in a tight hug "Marco it's me your panda my koala" Celestine said "Celestine" Marco asked her and Celestine just nodded her head
"Panda" Marco hugged her when a honk from the car beep on them "Alam kung masaya kayo jan, pero may balak ba kayong magpakamatay at tuparin yung till death do us part ha" the driver said and the two bestfriends realize that their still in the middle of the road
They entered the school walking with their arms link with each other "how are you Marco it's been 7 years since we last saw each other" Celestine asked him "I came back 2 weeks ago from US, I've heard what happened to you, hindi parin ba kayo ok ni tita Irene" Marco asked her
"Our relationship with each other is getting malabo day by day" Celestine said shortly "Here" Marco passed Celestine her favorite chocolate "wait you remember this" Celestine asked him "of course I remember that, it's your favorite and you have a lot of that nasa house pa, from mommy" Marco said to Celestine
"Tin you're there" Marco and Celestine heard Janine and Josh shouted "hala may date pala siya" Janine teased Celestine "what date, no, this is my bestfriend si Marco, he's my childhood friend sa San Francisco" Celestine introduced Marco to her friends
"I'm Joshua Montemayor" Joshua introduced himself "Marco long time no see" Janine said and they both shakes Marco's hand "let's go our next class is up, tara na baka malate pa tayo" Celestine said and Marco get Celestine's bag and carry it
"Hey that's my bag Marco" Celestine shouted "come and get it Panda" Marco said as he run "koala please give it back to me" Celestine pleaded while catching Marco
"Hayst, they're still the same" Janine muttered as she watched the two bestfriends run for a bag "what do you mean" Josh asked her "I've known them for to long, and did you know, Celestine can't stop crying when Marco left for US" Janine said
"Why did he left" Janine asked her "Marco's family business is in states and nagkaroon ng problema sa company nila, their family is known to be independent, I remember daddy and ninong Greggy offered them for a help but they refused" Janine said
"And lastly, if there is someone who knew Celestine better than anyone else it's Marco" She added and Josh just looked at the two bestfriends so happy "well atleast she smiled again" Josh said to Aton "of course she will, Marco knows how to make her smile" Janine said
"Let's go na guys, I finally got my bag back from this giant koala" Celestine said"I'm not a koala for nothing my panda" Marco hugged Celestine while walking in the classroom
