"Can I ask what is your name" she asked her while holding a pen "oh Celestine is my name" Celestine said and she nodded her head before walking to the nearest table, while she was walking she bumped into someone "Celestine?" The one who bumped into her asked her "yes do I kno-" She stopped talking when she saw the person, and it's Irene
"What are you doing here" Celestine asked her coldly "anak" Irene crushed Celestine in a really tight hug "please uwi na tayo anak" Irene said while hugging Celestine "please let me go, ang daming tao nakakahiya" Celestine said as she tried to let go from the hug
"No anak I will not let you go until we're not ok, until our family is not fixed" Irene cried while hugging Celestine, because their family is very influential people can easily recognize her and they're started filming the mother and daughter
"Kung kinakailangan kong lumuhod gagawin ko, basta anak please" Irene pleaded as she knelt down in front of her daughter "please ano ba, tumayo ka nga jan, it's embarrassing mommy, ANO BA" Celestine shouted as everyone watched them.
"You know what kung hindi ka nahihiya sa mga pinaggagagawa mo, pwes ako sobrang nahihiya na" Celestine said before walking away from the cafe "Ms your coffee" the bartender shouted "put it on my bills" Irene said before leaving the cafe
She looked around the mall to find her daughter, she run outside the mall hoping that her daughter went there "excuse me ma'am, have you seen a teenager girl wearing a j'adior slingback pump and white clothes with white coat" Irene asked a lady "Oh yes she's running earlier, I think she went near that garden" The girl said with her British accent
"Thank you so much" Irene said and she run in the garden, she saw her daughter seating on the bench peacefully, she was about to go near her when a kid went to Celestine "hello" Celestine said as she waved her hands on the kid
"Hi" The kid said with a hint of shyness on her tone "This is for you" the kid gave her a daisies "what is this for" Celestine asked her "nothing, you just looked so lonely, and a beautiful girl like you deserve this daisies" the kid said "you know, If I become a mother, I'll be the best mom than my mom" Celestine said and Irene just cried as she said those words
"Why, is your mom bad" The kid asked her "well not really, I mean she's just strict" Celestine said "oh you're just there" the kid's mom called her "mummy look, I've met a lonely pretty lady" the kid said and Irene just continue on listening
"Are you ok, you seem sad, come on it's ok for you to tell me your problems" the girl said as she sat next to Celestine, an unknown tears scape from Celestine's eyes "have you ever feel such a hatred towards your mother" Celestine asked her "well if you're going to asked me, yes but I already forgive her" She said and Celestine told her the full story
"I guess we're just the same, well a little bit different, you're rich and I'm poor" she said "well my only advice for you, is to forgive her and give her a chance sooner than later, before it's too late" She said to Celestine "what do you mean" Celestine asked her "well my mother is just as strict as yours, but there are reasons why they're strict to us" The girl said
"For them not to get embarrassed to their friends, am I right" Celestine said "no, they're strict because they want the best for us, they're strict so we can have a better future than anyone else" she said "but my mother is like a monster who's not contented on what she have" Celestine said and that broke Irene's heart even more
She's a monster to her daughter, her strictness is killing her daughter, "Well we have to go dear, just always remember, if she don't love you, she'll not leave your country just to follow you" The girl said and Celestine just stared at the distance, still processing what the lady said
She's still sitting on the bench, when Irene decided to go near her "am I really a monster to you" Irene asked her as she sat next to her "what do you think" Celestine responded
"I'm just going to tell you, that you're the worst mom ever, I wish na sana pinatay nyo nalang ako ng hindi ako nahihirapan ng ganito" Celestine said directly at Irene's face "go one tell me all of your hatred tatanggapin ko lahat ng yun" Irene said while looking at her daughter's eyes
"I just wanted to say, that you're a useless mother that was never been contented with me and my capabilities" Celestine said while Irene's tears are flowing in her eyes "MARCOS, HITLER, DICTATOR, KILLER" anti Marcos shouted making the mother and daughter flinch
"WHY ARE YOU HERE IN LONDON, TO STEAL SOME MONEY" One man shouted and Celestine gripped Irene's arms, Irene noticed the fear on Celestine's sudden action "hey it's ok let's leave" Irene said as she pulled her daughter away from the commotion
"LEAVE OUR COUNTRY, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE HERE" the people started shouting as Irene pulled Celestine away, "anak don't, and don't listen to them" Irene said as she covered her daughter's ears "look at mommy's eyes anak" Irene said as Celestine do what she wanted
"What did I told you before" Irene asked Celestine, as she remembered what her mother told her, Irene's strictness is for her to protect her own daughter "Don't feel bother be unbothered, a real lady never cry only weak girls does, don't let anyone know that you're weak, show them that you're brave and unbreakable" Celestine and Irene said at the same time
Irene noticed a man hold a laser gun from the distance, he saw that the man is pointing the gun at Celestine, Irene immediately hugged her daughter and turned around
The bullet hit Irene's back making her fall on Celestine's embrace, Celestine's eyes widened when she saw a blood came from Irene's back, Irene fell down the cold floor of the streets "M-mommy" Celestine stuttered as she sat down and shaked her mother's body
"N-no mommy please don't close your eyes" Celestine pleaded as she cried and removed her coat to stop her mom from bleeding "A-anak" I muttered as she touched Celestine's face
"I'm sorry, for all the sin that I did to you, for all the burden that I gave you and all the pain that i've caused in your heart, I became a terrible mother I'll admit that, but don't ever think that you're a burden to me, you may not know this or noticed this, but always remember, the first time I have you in my arms is the best day of my life, hindi ko man nasasabi sayo, I'm really proud with all of your achievements anak, my little Irene" Irene said as blood started escape from her mouth "mommy please don't leave me yet" Celestine said while crying
"HELP" Celestine shouted while hugging Irene's body, an ambulance came and put Irene in the stretcher "Lord please save my mom" Celestine prayed as she hold her mother's hands "Mommy don't close your eyes please" Celestine said, the lady earlier was right it's better to forgive sooner than later
They arrived at the hospital and they immediately run in the ER, "please save my mommy, I'll pay you any amount just save her" Celestine pleaded to the doctor, "we'll do anything we can" the doctor said before entering the ER
Celestine is just crying while waiting for the doctor to come out, 3 hours have passed and the doctors still haven't come out, a few moments later the doctor came out "Doc how's my mom" Celestine asked the doctor
The doctor just gave her a sympathetic smile "we did everything, I'm sorry for the lost, time of death 4:34 pm" the doctor said before leaving Celestine alone, Celestine entered the room and she saw her mom covered in a cloth
