Nervousness, rushed in Irene's heart when she found out what happened to her daughter, tears are scaping from her eyes and pain can be felt like a thousand knives being stab in her heart
She's blaming herself on what happened to her daughter, the Marcos family is present in the hospital in St Luke's, they decided to go back to Manila because of what happened, Irene is sitting in the chair waiting patiently for the doctor to come out
She's waiting when her phone rings, she looked at the contact and it's Sofia "it's your choice if you're going to answer it Irene, pero please naman kahit ngayon yung anak mo naman yung atupagin mo" Imee said to her younger sister, Irene looked at her phone again and it rings
"I have to take this call" Irene said because she's also worried why Sofia is calling "hello Sofia, why did you call" Irene asked her "wala lang tita I just want to ask if you're busy tomorrow, punta tayo sa mall like how we do everyday tuwing sinusundo mo ako" Sofia said to Irene and her family looked so shock that Irene could easily say yes to other child than her own daughter
"I'm sorry, but I have some errands for tomorrow eh" Irene said to Sofia "is it Celestine, tita akala ko po ba I'm your only baby, and you love me more than Celestine ano na ang nangyari doon sa promise mo na you're ready to trade anything even if it's Celestine for me" Sofia said and Greggy get Irene's phone and angrily throw it
"I'm speechless on what I heard, Irene how could you be so naglect full, you know what pagkagising at pagkagising ni Celestine sa akin siya titira" Imelda said to Irene and Greggy
"W-what mommy you can't do that she's still our daughter, you have no right to take her away from us" Irene said to Imelda "daughter? Irene naririnig mo ba yang sinasabi mo, you called her your daughter eh parang mas naging nanay pa nga si Liza at yung mga Amiga mo sa kanya eh kesa sayo" Imee said to her sister
That hit Irene so hard, she can't believe that her own sister would compare her to her friends "alam mo minsan iniisip ko, paano ka nabiyayaan ng diyos ng anak na sobrang bait, talino, hindi makasarili, kung napakasama mo sa kanya" Imee added, all Irene can do is cry
"Leave" Imelda said and Irene looked at her shock so does her siblings, "Umalis ka Irene kasi baka kung ano ang magawa ko sayo pag hindi ako nakapag timpi" Imelda said coldly to her daughter "please, susunod nalang ako sa bahay o kaya babalitaan kita, pero just like your mother said umalis ka muna kasi kahit ako hindi ko kayang makita yang mukha mo eh" Greggy said to his wife and Irene cried silently as she walked out of the hospital
She ride her car and cried "ahhhhhhh" she shouted while hitting her head at the steering wheel several times, 'alam mo minsan iniisip ko, paano ka nabiyayaan ng diyos ng anak na sobrang bait, talino, hindi makasarili, kung napakasama mo sa kanya' those words kept repeating in her mind, and much worst those words are from her sister
She drives home directly, because she's not like her friends who wants to go to the bar and get wasted, she go down the car and she was greeted by a silent entrance, an entrance where Celestine always greeted her everytime she go home
She smiled bitterly, as she reminisce those memories with her daughter, she wanted to get rid of her before, but now, her guilt and longing is killing her, she's now longing for a daughter's love
She walked in the stairs and she noticed that Celestine's room is opened slightly so she decides to enter and have a little look, because she never really go here, practically her first time going in there
"Wow" Irene gasp in shock when she saw Celestine's beautiful painting of her and Celestine, "rêve parfait" Irene read it and her heart broke when she just painted this because the both of them don't really have any pictures together
A lot of painting can be seen in her wall, when a door caught her eyes, she entered it and opened the light, she saw so many trophies and gold medals that Celestine achieve, all this awards are what Irene wants not what she likes
Irene touched one medal, that's home made with the title of 'best mom ever' Irene's tears started falling down as she looked at this, "ay ma'am andito po pala kayo" Celestine's personal maid, yaya Annie, said "ay Annie kanina ka paba jan" Irene asked her as she wiped her tears
"Hindi po ma'am, pinasabi kasi sa akin ni ma'am Celestine kanina bago siya maaksidente na ligpitin na daw po itong kwartong to" Annie said to her "ligpitin? Why" Irene asked Annie, and Annie can't help but to glance at the medal that's Irene's holding
"Nakita nyo na po pala yan" Annie said to Irene "does this medal have a story" Irene asked Annie, because to the both of them Annie knew Celestine better than her "opo ma'am, ginawa po yan ni Celestine nung isang linggo bago po siya, maalam nyo na uhm marape, pero pinapatapon niya na po yan kasi, hindi nyo rin naman daw po yan ma-appreciate kagaya nung mga awards niya" Annie said to Irene and Annie just leave Irene alone
As Annie left Irene cried silently, she's indeed blessed with a perfect daughter but she abused that blessing and gift, Irene sat down on Celestine's bed as she holds Celestine's clothes, "Irene anong ginagawa mo dito" manang Ellen asked her
"Wala manang napadaan lang ako" Irene said and Ellen sat beside her "nagsisisi ka ano" Ellen said and Irene just put her head on Ellen's shoulder "Am I a bad wife" Irene asked her "no you didn't fail as a wife, but did you know where did you fail" Ellen said to Irene
"You fail as a mother to your daughter, alam mo si Celestine, yung mga dindala ko ditong pagkain pag may-sakit ka siya nagluluto nun" Ellen said to Irene, she looked at Ellen shocked
"Teka I thought You're cooking it" Irene asked in disbelief "ako yung nagdadala pero si Celestine yung nagluto, kakainin mo ba pagsinabi kong siya yung nag luto diba hindi" Ellen said to Irene, Irene is crying when a music box caught her eyes
She stand up to get it, she played it and it's customized music box, it played slipping through my fingers "does she own this" Irene asked their mayordoma "she owned, pinagawa pa nga niya yan sa Paris eh, she always play that bago matulog sa tuwing naabutan ko siyang na naiyak, ini-imagine niya na ikaw yung naghehele sa kanya habang nakayakap sa unan niya" Ellen said
"Sige una na ako, may pagkain sa baba, gusto mo bang kumain muna" Ellen asked her "hindi na po manang thank you nalang" Irene said quietly and Ellen leave her alone in the room, she played the music box and lay down in bed while hugging Celestine's clothes
'please comeback anak, promise babawi si mommy sa lahat ng pagkukulang niya' Irene thought as she cried, she kissed the medal that her daughter made before sleeping
