11-Planning for the Party

Ganyu's POV:

I finally posted the photo, it took a while for me to add a sensible caption, but it seems that it worked. I saw Hu Tao talking to Father about hosting the party later tonight, because Xiao and Aether finally go together. I'm so happy for them, although, his fans aren't going to be surprised after seeing he likes somebody else. I snicker, then Xiao's face locks onto mine. Is he mad? I slowly turn my head to meet Xiao's eyes, 'h-I? Xiao...?' I start to get nervous. Most of the time, Xiao would beat me up after doing something that I wasn't supposed to do or he just doesn't like me. I'm totally a good sister. I put my hands on my hips as I waited for Xiao to speak up, he didn't say anything after 2 minutes. Then I heard Hu Tao rushing towards us, I look back, she's holding flyers in her hand. She finally made it to us, she was panting, then she let me examine the flyers. I ask her if we're opening the party to anybody that comes, she replied, 'Obviously! We need tons of people!' She giggled, I giggled with her. I let go of the flyers as I gave them back to Hu Tao, I look around the main room, Xiao isn't here beside me. I examine the entire room to see where he went. Probably went to look for his boyfriend. I walk towards the stylists room, I gently open the door. I couldn't believe my eyes, Ayaka was kissing Aether. I saw Aether's facial expression, he obviously didn't like it. But I inspected the room, I saw Xiao staring at both of them, lifeless.

I'm worried for Xiao. Ayaka and Aether has been kissing for a while now, but I wanted to talk to Ayaka, she made my brother sad, so I should avenge him. I break the kiss, I tell Ayaka to come with me to have a small chat, I knew Ayaka was up to no good when coming to relationships. I brought her up to another room, where all the storage and the other spare clothing are. Now's the good time to strike back,

'Ayaka,' I said angrily.

'Yes Ms Ganyu?' She was acting like she didn't know what happened, I sighed, in anger.

I slap her hard on the cheek, she fell down on the floor. She looked like she was about to cry, I don't care. She hurt my brother's feelings and she should have her punishment. She winced in pain, her eyes started to fill with water.

'You idiot, what is wrong with you!?' I shouted at her, as she turned her head towards my face.

'I-I..' She spoke,

'I had enough, you hurt my brothers feelings and you decide to steal his boyfriend!?' I shouted extra loud so she could hear me clearly. She looked afraid.

'Enough,' I stated angrily,

'You are suspended for 3 weeks.' I walked towards her.

'And I promise you, you will never come back.' I leaned over to her ear, as she was frozen with fear.

I walked away, with a smirk on my face. I walk over to the stylists room, Xiao was looking down at himself while I couldn't see Aether around. I wanted to ask, but he seemed lifeless when I came up to him. On the day he confessed, he already lost his boyfriend? I calm myself down, no. This isn't the time to calm down, this is the time where I get angry. I ran out of the room pushing the door open and head towards Hu Tao. She seemed upset aswell, I asked her where Aether went, she said that he was leaving overseas. What? Did I hear that right? I try to speak, but my mouth was kept closed. Xiao walked out of the room, he went towards his room. I already looked closely to his eyes, he wasn't happy, no sparkle. When Aether was still here, he always had that sparkle in his eyes, now I feel even more worried. That was the only thing that made him happy, Aether.

'Hu Tao,' I spoke,

'Yeah..?' She was upset too, some of the flyers were ripped apart by her.

'Do you know where Aether is heading?' I asked her, she seemed like she knows the answer.

'He said that they were leaving by morning, when the sun shines,' I seemed hopeful for a second,

'But they're heading to the other side of the world..' She spoke, trying not to cry. It's unusual for her to cry, I've never seen her so upset before, my hopeful smile became a frown. I have no hope.

Xiao's POV:

What did I witness, I knew I can't trust anyone. Even Aether, I saw him kissing Ayaka earlier, I was upset. I know Ganyu is going to do something, but that won't make me happy. I flopped myself on the bed, I had nothing to do. I confess to Aether today, but then I saw him kissing another person. Then he left the room, without me knowing where he was going. Ganyu barged inside of my room, she panted so loud I can hear her from the other side of the room.

'Xiao,' She was panting over her words,

'Aether's leaving by tomorrow, do you wanna go to their house?' She was tired, and she told me that Ayaka shouldn't be coming back ever again. That was good news.

I shook my head and left my room, I walked down the long hall in the main room. Then turned to the right corner where the reception desk was. I called the driver to pick me up, we had school tomorrow. What was the point of hosting a party, you'll just be tired the next day. I pushed the door open and left the building, maybe I shouldn't have trusted him. I repeated that inside my head, over and over and over. I saw the driver lower the speed rate down of the car and parked outside of the gate, I walked around the statue. Then the driver opened the door to let me in, Ganyu was spooking upset. She was standing in front of the door. Maybe because I was leaving, but I don't care anymore. What was the purpose in life if there is no happiness? I can't back out now, I was already been drove away. I finally arrived back at the mansion, I unlocked the door and I saw nobody inside, not even Aether. I try to forget Aether, he was a backstabber. But...I loved him. I walked upstairs, the red carpet was laying on the floor as I walked onto it. It made little lumps, but I wasn't bothered to fix it. I open the door to my room, it looks empty without Aether. I try to forget, but it always comes back. I flopped myself on the bed.

'What was the purpose in life, if there is no happiness in the world?'
