I know, guys. I know. I promised to update you on her everyday but honestly there hasn't been much to update about. We had a bit of a scare last night when she went limp on us but she was okay right after and my mom had some fluids on hand and ready to go if it happened again.
So other than last night, she's been doing great. She's putting on some weight and even running now. She's following us alot. Matter a fact, she followed me into my room this morning. She's just chilling in here now. I got her to follow me to the kitchen and got a picture I'll show you guys in a bit.
My mom can't seem to decide what we're gonna do with her. She said we aren't gonna release her into the wild because she won't know how to get away from predators but also said a minute later that we're gonna release her in the woods by our house knowing full well we have a family of cougars around here. Anyways, she's made it very clear that IF we are going to release her than it will be out here with us.
Other than that, the only thing to update you on is her changing name. So we were originally calling her Paige but also came up with other ideas. My brother just kept calling her Bambi, I suggested Faline after Bambi's friend and love interest, and my mother considered Clarice after the female deer in the 1964 Rudolph movie. Wanna know what my mother settled on? Fawn. We were gonna name her Fawn. Ma'am why? I asked how it was spelled too having a little hope but no. After getting me and my brother on her about the name, she considered Dawn which I would be fine with. She then suggested Faith but my brother complained merely because my middle name is Faith and he didn't wanna name her after me even though nobody said that. To be fair, I also wasn't too big on Faith since we'd named a cat, actually Miracle's sister back when we first got her, Faith and it didn't live and it felt weird to name her Faith as well. She THEN considered Heaven because why not. We already have a cat named Angelgirl (we just call her Angel though) and had a cat named Halo so I was fine with Heaven. Anyways, you can forget I said any of this. I had hope for my mother. I. Had. Hope. Guess which name she went with. Here's a picture of her while your guessing.
