Masaya akong nakikitang nag eenjoy at masaya ang prinsesa ko sa espesyal na araw nya. Maraming mga palaro sa mga bata at sa mga kids at heart.
Lumipad pa dito ang mga pinsan ko kasama ang mga asawa at anak din nila para dumalo na din at makapagbakasyon. Mga kapatid ni Mommy at Daddy.
Halos nakakain na ang mga bisita at natapos na din ang mga set ng palaro ng tawagin ako ng host para sa candle blowing ng aking anak.

Tumayo ang lahat para kantahan ng happy birthday song si Saskia na galak na galak.
" Make a wish and blow your candles, my Sassy.."
" Hmmmm.."
She close her eyes and make a wish before blowing her candles.
" Yeyyyy! Can you tell us your birthday wish?"
The host asked Sassy.
" Hmmm. I wish that Daddy will always be happy."
" awwwww..." (Crowed dreamy sigh)
After that, we had our father and daugher dance. I lift her in my arms and dance with her.
We dance to the music I recorder myself with the song I dedicate to Sassy. All while a video of pictures of us through the years played on the VTR.

I dont know how many times I filled my chest with air just so I wont suddenly cry the whole time.
Its just at this moment that I cant take it anymore. I excuse myself and hide here where I can watch them dance and cry at the same time. Watching the video of their pictures together while our Little Leia grow up.
My heart clench with the reality that, my baby grew up without me. That Yyo faced and did everything for her alone. I hate that I took away the chance of a whole family for Leia.
At the end of the video, there is a part where Yyo is seated behind of what looks like a office desk. The father and daughter stop and watch.
Yyo read a letter he wrote.
" As much as I love you, I cant say this infront of the crowed and ugly cry on your birthday. So I made this letter and read it for you here."

Happy 5h birthday, my Leia Saskia Ashanti! Five years since that faithful day of your unexpected arrival in this world and in my life but I wouldnt trade that day with the world. You are the little light that gets me through the darkest days of my life and my sunshine everyday after that.
Thank you for making Daddy happy. For always wishing every year that Daddy will always be happy. Today, I want you to wish for what you truly want for your self because, everyday with you is enough for me to be happy.
Its okay to wish for a new dress, a new toy, a new book, a new set of paint brush and canvas. Its okay to wish that your Mommy will come and meet you soon.
Its okay, anak. As long as she's ready and you are. Daddy's okay with that.
