Mommy just finished preparing food for dinner when I walk to our kitchen. I help her set the table and clean up.
" Its cold no?"
" Yeah. Tinaasan na po ni Daddy ung heater."
" Nakabihis na ba ang mga kapatid mo?"
" Yes po, Mommy."
" How do you feel?"
" Po?"
" You look ano eh.. Kinakabahan? Excited?"
" Mommy naman."
" Mommy naman... 🙄 nako Yyo. Wag ako."
" 😅 excited lang po na kinakabahan."
" Eh bakit ba kase? Nagkakausap naman kayo minsan ah. Tyaka, anak, ang babata nyo pa."
" But I think .. She's the one for me."
I look at her before I said those last words to see her reaction. She's calm still, so that is a good sign.
" How do you know?"
She said placing the last spoon on tbe table and look at me.
Mejo nakakakaba kasi, ngayon ko lang sya nakitang ganito kaseryoso. I mean, I did. Before. Pero sa ibang tao. Because I grew up being so loved and pampered from her. Literal na pinalaki sa lambing.
" I feel it??"
" You doesnt sound so sure."
" Mommy, ano po eh.. Basta.. I know."
She look at me. And I wonder what she's thinking.
" You're just 15 but I will not judge you, anak. Your own phase. 😊"
" Thank you, Mommy ko."
That, and she smile again. I went to hug her. Mommy Maine's hugs are the most safe place in this world.
" I love you, Mommy."
" And you know I love you, anak. Kahit mas matangkad kana sakin, ikaw padin ang baby Yyo ko."

Black shinny hair, chubby rosy cheeks, mezmerizing eyes and smile.
Dreamy went straight for a hug when she saw me.
D: Yyo! Hi! 😊
Y: Dream. 😊
J: Dreamy Jarielle, did you just jump on a boy??
G: Yes she did, Jack.😆
Complementaries where given and short talks. We all sat in the dinning area to have dinner while cathing up. Dreamy across me beside her Mom.
G: Night is stayed in missouri for school.
M: I was just about to ask why he's not with you. How's everything going there.
G: Same old. You should visit there before you go back to the philippines.
R: That's a good idea.
M: Dreamy you look so pretty.
D: Thank you..☺️
O: Im pretty too, Mommy!
J: Of course, little girl. You got it from your Mom, right?
R: Well, she's half me and half Maine so, I think Im taking half the credits.
G: So, have you decided where to take up college, Yyo?
Y: Yeah. Mommy agreed that I'll be staying here for college.
M: It was a tough decision, I can say.
After the dinner, the parents stayed at the dining room for coffee while Dreamy and I stayed at the living room.

Hindi ko alam kung matatawa ako sa aking asawa. Nandito kami sa diming area at kausap ang mga kaibigan namin pero panay naman ang sulyap sa sala kung nasaan sila Yyo at Dreamy kasama sila Ocean at Ulan.
R: Love, nagkukwentuhan lang ang mga bata.
M: Parang ang saya saya ni Yyo oh..
R: 😅 syempre. Ikaw naman. Hayaan mo na. Lalake ang anak natin. At nasa stage na sya where he will explore. Atleast kilala natin kung kanino nya gusto mag explore di ba?
M: 😒 hindi ko gusto yang sinasabi mo, Richard jr.
R: I mean,.. Atleast we know who he is eyeing.
M: *sigh
It was past midnight when the Brinkmans said their goodbyes.
At ang Yyo nyo at si Dreamy, hindi mapaghiwalay. Kahit nakailang irap na ang Mommy nya.
G: Thank you for having us.
M: Anytime!
D: Thanks for the dinner, Aunt Maine. 😊
She went to hug Maine briefly.
M: You can visit anytime while we are here so you can catch up with Yyo. 😊
D: Thank you!

J: I still cant wrap it in my head, Maine.
M: Me too but..
Jack and Maine look at Yyo and Dreamy.
M: But I dont think I will like any other for Yyo.
