I filled my chest with air and finally got the courage to look Yyo in the eyes. We've been sitting here in his office receiving area for five minutes already without talking.
He gave me a little smile I almost lost it. How can someone be this handsome and cute at the same time?
" I.. I actuly dont know why Im here for and how I got the courage to---"
He sigh and lean his back on the couch and sat comfortably loosing up his tie. My eyes landed instantly to his broad shoulders and smooth looking neck----

I snap back to my senses when he chuckle and shook his head. Looking at me with playful eyes.
" Its okay. You can always check me out whenever and whereever you want."
" What??!"
" 😏 come on."
" Stop birkering."
" Im not. Hmmm.. "
" Yyo."
" Okay. Okay. So, are you here to see Sassy? She's with my Mom and Dad today."
" No--- I mean.. I want to see her but I want to talk to you first. "
" Okay.. Whats up?"
" I--- I want to say--"
" If you are planning to say sorry and all that, its okay. "
" What do you mean?"
His playful demeour suddenly change to a solem one.
" Night told me everything."
" What??"
" I-- I --- When Sassy turns two, things got a little though. She started asking about you. She's so smart and clever I sometimes cant hide anything to her. "
"...."
" I told her that... You are in a far place and that you will come home when you are ready."
" Im sorry.."
" Its okay----"
" No. Its not okay, Yyo."
" Yes its not, of course."
The door open and shut.
Its Ocean. Yyo's sister.
" Dagat."
Yyo warned her by his tune but she just casually sat on the arm rest where Yyo is sitting. Her arms crossed.
" What? Dont you want her to know?"
" Dagat, hindi ngayon---"
" Dont you want her to know that you lost it when she left? That you once try to end your life because you cant accept that she left you and your baby just like that? Dont you want her to know how long it took before you got back on your feet and how many doctor appoinment Mommy force you to take? Dont you want her to know ---"
" Thats enough. Ocean."
" What?? Dear brother, wag kang marupok. Hindi sa ganda lang dapat tayo tumitingin. "
I dont understand what she said after the doctors appointment part. But those revelations are enough for me to feel this guilt in my heart. I look down to the floor avoiding their eyes.
" Sige na. Umalis ka muna. Nag-uusap--"
" Nag-uusap.. Tapos mamaya iuwi mo yan ah."
" Dagat if its not---"
" Kuya, magpakipot ka naman! Sinaktan ka nyan!"
" Asawa ko parin sya. Of all people, alam mo yan."
" Psssh.."
Ocean walk out and slam the door.
" Im sorry about Ocean."
" Its okay. 🙂 She's your sister who love you so much even back then."

" Ahmm.. What did she say? I dont understand but if ---"
" I told her you're still my wife."
" What---- how-- you told her?"
" Hmmmm.. More on she found out."
" How?"
" She found her way to my papers back when Im in the hospital and unconsious."

" Dreamy, its okay. Its in the past. "
" I want to know."
" Someday you will. But now, all I want is for you to be sure of what you really want."

I look at him and saw how quick his facial expression change. He was taken a back at first, but then smiled, that same smile that melts my heart.
" After those darkest days I've been through, those painful cry everynight I spend alone, I never thought I would make it where I am today. I even failed as a father to Sassy for a few months and live a miserable life because for the first time in my life I was heart broken. I never thought such pain exist till that day you left. I pray so hard everyday that the pain will go away...until my prayers were answered. I woke up and suddenly things are a little less painful. They were beggining to be more bearable each passing day until all I care about is making happy memories with Sassy. I admit that, I almost let go of our promises. But the day I prayed for the peace of my heart and decided to let you go, Sassy asked about you. "

" And then I told myself, this will be the last time, I will hold on to you. I flew to Missouri and look for you. "
" You found Night."
" Yes. Its the day of your heart operation. "

And promise myself to wait for you and to hold on to our promise that there will be no one in between us. And besides, even if no one knew, were still married."
