Sa tinagal tagal ng panahon, natapos din! Bonus nalang yung pumasa pa sa board.
M: We are so proud of you, anak!
Y: Thanks, Mommy. 😊 Para po sa inyo ito ni Daddy.
They flew here two days ago when I told them I passed the board.
My ever supportive parents.
Since Ocean is taking up her college course here, they visit more often. Si Rain nalang ang kasama nila sa Pilipinas.
R: Ayaw mo bang umuwi muna sa Pilipinas habang school break pa ni Saskia at Dagat?
Y: Hmmm.. Pwede naman po. Kaya lang kasi uumpisahan na din namin lakarin yung Business na itatayo namin tatlo nila Tia at Joey.
M: Hmm..
We are talking over dinner. Nagpareserve sila Mommy Maine at Daddy to celebrate. Syempre, ang pinaka highlight ay ang kakulitan ng nag-iisang bwan, bitwin at araw ng buhay ko.
Saskia turned 6 years old last month. My sweet sassy girl.
M: Sassy, do you want to go home to the Philippines?
S: Yes, Nana! I want po!
M: See? She wants to go home with Nana. 😊
R: Eh kung isama nalang namin si Sassy?
Y: Daddy naman.
R: Kailangan mo ng umuwi dahil namimiss ka na ng Lolo Teddy at Lola Mary mo.
Y: After we settle our business. Nasa kalagitnaan na din po kasi kami at may mga kliyente na din na nagtiwala para sa first project namin.
M: Okay. But dont over work, anak. Remember that Saskia is still your main priority.
Y: Oo naman po.
The next days were busy. We are setting up our office while sending proposals and endorsements to possible clients. Good thing my parents are stying for three more weeks so they can keep my baby girl busy too.
Hard work and patience paid off real quick. Not more than two months in the business but clients started to pour. We work overtime just to keep up with our deadlines and please our clients.
Soon, our three table office grew with five more for our junior architect staffs.

Six months after Yyo passed the board, he is now managing a competitive architectural company with his 2 close friends. Rj and I are always proud parents of our boy.
Being a single dad to his daughter and managing a company wouldnt be that easy but I can say that he's slaying it. BUT... hindi na namin sya mahagilap minsan. Hindi na nga madali na mag-isa syang nagpapalaki ng anak habang malayo saamin. Sa akin! Can you blame me? Im always worried about him. Kaya kahit ayaw ni Rj na malayo si Dagat, I helped her convinced him na sa NY mag aral ng college. So there will always be someone that Yyo can turn to whenever. Though Lia still lives near by.
The past years made him what he is today though. He proved to me and Rj that we dont have to worrh about him. That his darkest days are over.
But my Mommy heart will never forget that day I thought I would never see him open his eyes again.
On the night we bought Baby Saskia home from the NICU, we planned to surprise Yyo because he havent visited her for the last three days. Imagine the horror when we found him unconcious on his bed and blood's dripping from his wrist. Hinding hindi ko makakalimutan ang araw na yon. Thank God we arrived on time and still manage to save him. He suffered depression after that even after we went home to the Philippines.
We even came to a point where we cant leave Saskia with him alone because, dumating na din sya sa point na, kahit sya mismo hindi nya kayang magtiwala sa sarili nya na hindi nya maipapahamak ang anak nya. He have been always a honest child at ipinagpapasalamat ko talaga na hindi sya naglilihim samin ni Rj. He went through psychology check ups, emotional therapy.. hanggang maging okay sya. It was never easy for him but he survive the whole ordeal.
Kaya, I will always be proud of my son. And whoever he choose to love again, alam kong napaka swerte nyang babae.
" Mommy? "
" Oh, nakauwi kana."
" 😅 Sorry po late. Madami lang po kasing tinatapos sa office. Si Sassy po?"
" Pinatulog na ng Daddy mo. Nakatulog na kakahintay sayo."
" 😐"
" Dont you want to take a break anak? Namimiss kana ni Saskia. "
" Mejo---"
" Yyo."
" Opo, Mommy. Sa weekend po. Nagdecide po kami na every weekend ung day offs namin sa office. Parang sa Pilipinas po."
" Good. Baka sa susunod na mabalitaan kong laging Yaya ang kasama ni Sassy, iuwi ko nalang yan ng Pilipinas kasama namin."
