It breaks my heart while I watch Yyo console our daughter. She suddenly cry when I hugged her. Her tears fell on her cheeks like forever. She even push my hand away when I try to hold her while Yyo carry her.
Yyo: Its okay, Baby. Shhhh.. Dont cry..
Sas: I--- 😭😭 I dont like..--- m-mommy..
Yyo: Shhhh.. Dont cry. You're a big girl now remember?
Sas: 😭😭
I dont know what to do. I cant even touch her. I look at Night and he can only give me sympathetic smile.
Sassy had hiccups from crying already when a beautiful pregnant woman worriedly approach us.
" Hey, missy."
She touch Sassy's face and gently wiped her tears.
" Why is Cinderella crying?"
She softly asked. Carresing Leia's hair. The way she stood behind Yyo and touch Leia, make me feel like something painful will burst out of my chest.
My eyes hurts with the scene and my heart aches so bad. I turn around and run away there.
I heard Night call me but I just.. Run and rode the first cab I saw in the curb of the hotel entrance.
I feel numb on the face and I am not sure if its the cold or its because of some other reason.
I change in my usual house clothes, over sizes shirt that fell half to my legs and sleepwear shorts.
Go straight to the kitchen and grab a can of beer. Pop the can and drunk it staright to half.
" That's not good for you."
That was Night. Standing in the doorway of the kitchen still in his Prince Charming outfit.
I walk past him and sat on the couch. Watch the snow slowly falling out the window.
New York weather is still crazy. Its freaking hot and then two hours later its snowing.
" You just met your daughter after five years and that's you're going to do? Get drunk? For what? Are you celebrating?"
" Night, can you just.. Let it go. And leave me alone."
" Come on, Dreamy."
" Night."
" Its been five years, Sister. What are you waiting for? Seven years more?? God! I cant----"
" Didnt you see them, Night? They are happy now. They dont need me to...-- I just dont want to just ----ugh!"
" Can you listen to me?"

" You brat! You'll hear me out or you're going to regret it."
" Midnight Jade. I dont want to hear it."
" Really, huh.. Okay. If you dont want to hear that Yyo looked for you two years ago and accidentally found me, and then let me meet your daughter Sassy when I came to visit them here that same year and then ----"
" What???!"
" You dont want to hear it, Dreamy Jarielle. 😴 Im so sleepy, Goodnight."
" Midnight!!"
" Dont think too much and go to bed."
" You----- idiot!"
" Im so handsome, thank you very much."
That and he locked his room even before I got to my feet.

Maaga akong nagising kahit magdamag na umiyak halos si Sassy at hindi nakatulog.
This clever girl, always a heavy thinker.
Gising na din sya at nakatingin sa snow sa labas ng bintana ng kwarto namin. She have her own room/playroom but she sleep beside me at night ever since she's a baby.
" Good morning, baby girl."
" Morning Dad.."
" Do you want to eat breakfast now?"
" No..🙁"
Umupo ako sa tabi nya at nakitingin sa labas.
" Dad.."
" Hmm?"
" Does Mommy dont like me?"
" Huh? Of course not. Your mother loves you. See? She cried because she finally meet you."
" Why she's not here with us? why...----"
" Anak, may mga bagay na kahit sabihin ko sayo ngayon, hindi mo pa maiintindihan. Maybe when you grow older, I'll tell you the story and you'll understand more. Just not now yet. Arent you happy that mommy's finally here?"

" Sassy?"
" Im happy with Daddy. "
" I know. But di ba, you always ask about Mommy? She's here now."
" Will she leave us again, Daddy?
" Hmm, I dont know. Maybe you can ask her?"

Its one of those rare days na maaga kaming natapos sa trabaho. Tia and Joey went out with our employees of 8 to treat them for lunch. I choose to stay and have my alone time like I always do whenever I can.
Im smiling while watching old videos of my Saskia thru the projector in my wall when someone knock on my door.
And then it slowly open.
A hesitant looking Dreamy came in. Still as beautiful as ever. In my eyes of course. Pero hindi tayo marupok for todays video. I MEAN, susubukan natin.
