Chapter 6: Loving Siblings

Hi everyone look it's a Friday and I've given you guys a new chapter are you guys proud of me... haha anyways hope you guys enjoy the calm before the storm 😉

"Y/n are you okay" Tonia wiped a tear from your face as she worriedly stared at you, Ajax squeezed your hand in a comforting way as his thumb rubbed loving circles on the back of your hand.

"Ah… yeah I'm okay" your heart was beating like crazy, it felt like your heart would jump out of your chest. Your eyes sting as you stare at the fire, why did you have to remember that day in front of them.

"Are you sure? You're trembling." Ajax looked at you with the worry expression he seems to always have today. He clenched his teeth as his brows furrowed, he felt useless to the friend he cared so deeply for. He wanted to help you, to make all your pain fly away but couldn't do a thing, you wouldn't let him help you.

The problem wasn't them but yourself as you hadn't opened up about the whole story, they only knew bits and pieces. Every time you wanted to tell them, the fear and disgust would crawl onto your skin as if it was a warning. 

That feeling made you uncomfortable and dirty, it made you want to hide and believe you were wrong to feel this way. You also fear that they would treat you differently if they knew what had happened, it might be stupid to think that you could be wrong but that feeling of emptiness was to unbearable. 

You had found comfort and warmth in this place, you couldn't bring yourself to ruin this little piece of heaven they have given you. You also wanted to protect what you had left, they were precious and you wouldn't want them to get involved in something that wasn't their problem.

"I hope you know, you're staying here until you're really okay" Tonia seems to have made up her mind, you weren't sure if you were thankful for her stubbornness or kindness. Her voice was soft and fluffy like a cloud, she helped to relax as the bad thoughts faded.

"Are you tired?" That question caught you a little off guard but you were equally amazed that Ajax had noticed that you were exhausted.This had made the ginger laugh as he pointed out that it was very late in the night, which made you really embarrassed to even look in his direction.

“The room is ready right?” Ajax nodded at her as he stood up, holding his hand out for you as he helped you stand. The warmth of his hand felt comforting and safe, you didn’t want this feeling to end as a smile settled on your lips.

"You know your smile is beautiful, you should smile more," your eyes widen at ajax's comment as your face starts to heat up, he seems to enjoy teasing you as he grins mischievously.

"Ajax don't tease her" Tonia seemed to have pouted as she slapped her brother's back as a way to punish him, but it had only made the ginger laugh as he continued to tease you even more.

At this point their playful nature made you feel less tense, and laugh at the show they had started. Your eyes softened at the precious moment they were giving you, this will forever be ingrained into your mind.

They had led you upstairs toward the hallway of doors, each of the doors were decorated in the style of each person's taste. Only two were left undecorated, one you figured would be the bathroom but the other one you weren't so sure.

"Here we are," Tonia smiled as she stopped at one of the doors that was yet to be decorated, "I hope you like it Y/n." You weren't ready as she had opened the door to a beautifully decorated room, it felt like it was meant for you as a bookcase full of books catches your attention.

"Wait… is this my r-room…?" You had stumbled on your words as you stared in awe, you couldn't believe they had decorated a whole room just for you. You stood there in shock as your eyes sting, you took a gaspy breath as you were left speechless.  

"See I told you she would like it" Tonia wrapped her arms around your waist as she hugs you, it seems she was teasing her brother as you notice that she sticks her tongue out at an annoyed ginger from the corner of your eye.

"Why you little, Tonia, that's not fair" Ajax walks up to you as he wraps his arms around your shoulders, "Uh guys…" you seem to have been caught in a staring and hugging contest between the siblings.

"Can you guys shut up, we're trying to sleep" it seems Anthon has woken up, and just behind him is a sleepy Teucer with a blanket dragging behind him.

Teucer groggily rubs his eyes as he looks up at the commotion his other siblings are making just to excitedly shout, " sister Y/n, you're here."

Your eyes softened as they meet teucer's elated face, the pure happiness you felt as you saw him rise.

This was the siblings' queue to stop fighting and let you go just so you could embrace teucer in a bear hug, his smile bright up your world as his laugh filled your room.

"I've missed you so much, my cutie" teucer couldn't help but giggle in your arms as he snuggles into your embrace, "are you staying here tonight sister?" 

His question made you giggle as you smiled sweetly at him, "of course my cutie." He excitedly ran out of your arms towards Tonia and Ajax, "c-can I sleep with sister Y/n tonight?"

Ajax had sighed as he shook his head, "not tonight buddy, your sister here had a tough day today and she needs a lot of rest." You were content to see teucer wine, wanting to stay by your side, but Ajax was right you didn't want teucer to see you at your weakest.

"Teucer come here for sec" you smiled genuinely at him as you waved a hand for him to come, he walked over nervously as if he would get in trouble.

You covered your mouth with your hand trying not to laugh at his cuteness, he played with his fingers nervously as he pouted cutely at you.

"Tell you what, I'll make breakfast with brother Ajax in the morning" you took out your pinkie so you could seal the deal, teucer's eyes sparkled as he knew what you wanted to do.

"You make a pinkie promise, you keep it all your life. You break a pinkie promise, I throw you on the ice. The cold will kill the pinkie that once betrayed your friend, the frost will freeze your tongue off so you never lie again."

Every sibling nodded as they each ruffles teucer's head, "we better head to bed so that promise is kept." Ajax picked up a slightly sleepy teucer as he waves a goodnight to everyone, you smiled as you waved as well.

"You should sleep as well,Y/n" Tonia softened her eyes at you as she hugged you one last time before shoving Anthon out the room, the last thing you could see him frantically waving as she closed the door.

You smiled to yourself as you stared at the door, they were your world and that would never change.
