Chapter 11: Training

Hello hello how is everyone 👋👋
I am very slow at writing this but I'm enjoying this story so I know I can give it an ending. I hope this gives you guys something to be excited about for the next chapter.

"We're both going to liyue soon" Ajax has a serious tone as he watches the flickering flames dance in front of him, "Wait Ajax what do you mean, me? I'm not even part of the fauti and I don't even have a... vision."

You stood there for a second deep in thought realizing that the last statement wasn't true anymore, the day you were almost dragged back home you had pushed the man away with anemo.

You felt it at the tips of your fingers, the air around was different in that moment and it just felt natural using it.

Ajax had started watching you getting lost in your own thoughts, he knew what he saw that day. That's why he didn't help sooner as he noticed the change in the air, he wanted to see what you could do without any training.

"You're gonna begin training starting today" he said that very sternly, he stood up watching you tense up slightly at his sudden authoritative voice, "Y-yes sir."

Your words came out without warning, your back straightened as if you were a soldier ready to be at the beck and call of your superior.

You felt a hand on your head, easing your body to relax, " don't worry so much Y/n." You looked up at Ajax, you stared into his concerned eyes, he was such a loving friend and you appreciated every little thing he did.

You nodded, "Ok, I'll go get ready."

You silently walk upstairs toward your bedroom, your thoughts wandering towards nothing in particular, but stop at the thought of scaramouche just remembering how strange he was acting.

He felt weirdly passive and not as forceful as he usually was. It made you feel oddly anxious like something bad would happen.

"You ok?" You had snapped out of your trance looking to your side, Tonia was watching you with a troubled expression. "I'm fine I was just lost in thought" you tried to lighten the mood with a smile, patting her head to reassure her which made the young girl sigh smiling softly.

"Please be careful" Tonia wrapped her arms around your waist tightly as if you would never come back, you caressed her head in a loving manner watching the young girl tremble.

"Tonia, I promise I will try my hardest to be careful ok so don't be upset" you lifted her head, your eyes staring into her teary-eyed face. You carefully wipe a tear with your thumb, smiling at her like the whole world was nothing more than a blurry illusion.

She seemed hesitant but ultimately hugged you one last time before letting you go, you made your way toward your room to change into something more comfortable.

You knew you needed something that you could easily move in something that you wouldn't mind getting dirty with blood, dirt or snow.

You searched your colorful closet for an outfit that was just right for the occasion, you had found a long sleeve that was cuffed at the wrist but also had no fabric at the shoulders. The fabric is warm and breathable, making you feel like you can move fairly easily.

You had chosen some transparent stocking to put underneath the high-waisted shorts you had chosen, the outfit wasn't anything too fantastic but it felt right to you.

You looked at yourself in the mirror just to make sure everything was coherent in your outfit. Once you're ready you head downstairs to meet with Ajax, "you ready?"

You nod at his question, your fingers intertwined with each other as you nervously fiddle with your thumbs waiting for him to say something, anything.

Ajax opens the front door holding it open for you to walk out, the gesture makes you smile as you walk into the snowy white world. The icy wind was such a relief to breathe in watching the snowfall as you followed Ajax silently behind.
