So I'm like a day late... haha yeah sorry I couldn't think of anything that would fit this. Like I knew what was going to happened but didn't know how, so it took me a while to get any ideas but I do hope you guys are enjoying the story. 🥰

A week has passed and you were still adjusting to living with the siblings, you were still tense since your parents would probably start looking for you soon.

Ajax has made it a point to tease you every second he gets a chance when you mess up, and each time Tonia is there to scold him.

But you don't mind as it lightens the mood and relaxes you enough to remind you that you're safe with them, well at least when you're not dreaming.

The dreams are now constantly about scaramouche even if you don't want them to be about him, he seems loving and sweet but also aggressive and controlling like the real one.

Why is he in your dreams, why must it be every night, why does he tease you every night just to do nothing.

Those questions seem to always run wild when you're alone or deep in thought, but it's always interrupted by the siblings and you're grateful for that.

"Hey, Y/n would you go shopping with me? We need more ingredients for dinner." You were sitting on the sofa, the light of the fireplace flickering as you stared at its warmth.

You had flopped on your side as you turned to your stomach, this whole thing was being watched by Ajax as he tried not to laugh.

"Are you that lazy today" he shook his head as he walked toward the arm rest, he crouched down so he could be at eye level with you.

You hummed as you sinked into the couch more as you mumbled that it was very comfortable here, that's when you felt his hand ruffle your hair as he chuckled.

"Come on we better go before it gets dark" you grumbled as you reluctantly got off the soft couch, "mmh do I have to."

Ajax nodded as he pointed out that most of the food was gone because of your failed attempts at cooking, you had stood there unamused at the smile he gave you.

"Fine but buy me a snack," you smiled mischievously as you skipped toward the stairs happily, Ajax couldn't stop you and was hesitant to do so since it was rare for you to be this happy.

You went into your room and changed into a soft comfy long dress, it wasn't that cold today but it was better to be safe then get sick later.

You slide on your winter boots as you walk down the stairs to the living room, you slow down as your eyes catch the glimpse of ajax staring intensely at the fireplace.

You couldn't help but wonder why he seemed troubled by something, his eyes looked dimmer than usual in this lighting.

The flickering of the fire didn't help as it made him seem like if you got too close you might die, and this side of Ajax always scared you a little bit.

You had reached the bottom of the stairs as you waited for Ajax to get out of his trance, once he finally noticed you his whole demeanor changed and he was his bubbly playful self again.

"Did you wait long?" You gave him an awkward smile as you played with the tips of hair trying to look anywhere but his eyes.

"Sorry Y/n…" he sighed as he walked towards you but had stopped as he saw you tremble, you grabbed your arm as a way to remind you where you were but your body wouldn't listen.

"N-no it's f-fine" you breathed a shaky breath as you tried your hardest to calm your racing heart, the feeling of fear crawled back to you and you can't do a thing.
