-----------------------After wandering around for nearly half an hour, I finally found my first class. I stepped into the classroom and everyone turned to stare at me. Blushing, I walked to the front of my class and spoke with my teacher for a few minutes before taking a seat in the back of the class.
The girl next to me glanced over, judgement lining her fake smile.
"Hi! I'm Tiffany" she cooed, her honey voice making me want to puke. Her straight blonde hair is pulled into a perfect fishtail braid and she wore a pair of skinny jeans and a green, v-neck t-shirt. Dozens of silver bracelets dangled around her wrists, and shivered with sound as she writes notes. She stinks of some flowery perfume. I hold back the urge to gag as I opened my mouth to talk.
"I'm Millie" I whispered, watching the teacher as he used a laser pointer to illuminate the PowerPoint. I tried to pay attention but my mind kept wandering back to Jackson. We'd talked for a few minutes as we made our way to the office to get my paper work. (I came in a quarter of the way into the year so I needed special papers) after we found the office, he'd disappeared.

I walk outside into the fresh air, glad to be away from Tiffany and her stench. We had five classes together; five classes too many.
When I'm halfway through the schoolyard, I pull out my headphones. One of my favorite techno songs comes on and I smile. My eyes wander through the crowds and it takes me a minute to realize what, or who, I'm looking for; Jackson. I stop, turning around. My eyes dart from the stone lions to the trees that line to courtyard, but he's no where to be found.
"Maybe he stayed late" I think to myself as I make my way home.
