Some of this chapter is copied straight from the script of the Narnia movie.
That night, Aslan holds a party in honour of The White Witch letting me live.
Of course, everyone thinks I'm going to live they don't know I am about to die.
There is singing, dancing and music. Everyone seems so happy. Even the trees.
TIME SKIP
I hear Aslan's voice in my head, 'It's time child. You really shouldn't but I know how much Peter means to you so I will allow you to say goodbye to him and him only.'
I start to cry.
I walk up to Peter and sit down next to him.
'Hey! Are you having a nice... time?' He trails off at the end after seeing my face. 'What's wrong?'
I ignore his question. 'You'll be a great King, Peter. You and all your siblings.'
'Why are you saying this Y/N?'
'I'm just sad I'll never get to see it. See you, as King.'
'What are you talking about, of course, you will.'
I stand up and start to walk away. Then I stop and turn around.
I jog back to Peter and kiss him.
I rest my forehead on his, my eyes closed. 'Goodbye, Peter.' I run off.
I can hear him calling my name but I ignore it.
Susan POV
'Susan!' Lucy nods in towards Y/N and Aslan.
I get up and follow Lucy.
We dart behind trees until Aslan realizes we're following them.
'Shouldn't you both be at the party?' He asks us.
'We wanted to know where you were going.' Lucy explains.
'Please, Aslan. Couldn't we come with you and Y/N?' I ask.
'We would be glad of the company for a while. Thank you.' Y/N says.
We grasp his mane and walk beside him for a while.
'It is time. From here, we must go on alone.' Aslan tells Lucy and me.
'But Aslan...' I start.
'You have to trust me. For this must be done. Thank you, Susan. Thank you, Lucy.' Aslan says.
Y/N hugs us.
'Be kind to Ed. Look after Peter for me, please.' Y/N says with tears in her eyes. 'Goodbye girls. I am proud to consider you two my sisters.'
She turns to her father.
'I love you. Thank you for everything.' She tells him, hugging his neck.
'And I love you, dear one.' He responds.
I lead Lucy off towards another area of the wood where we can see and hear everything that's happening at the Stone Table. The Table is surrounded by the Witch's creatures, holding torches and jeering as Y/N walks up the steps to the table. The Witch steps up onto the table, wearing a grey dress. She holds a stone knife in front of her. Y/N stops in front of the Table.
'Behold. The great Princess, daughter of Aslan.'
Someone pokes Y/N with the sharp end of their axe before slamming it into her, knocking her to the floor.
'Why doesn't she fight back?' Lucy asks me, I have no answer.
'Bind her!' The Witch commands.
'Tie her up!'
'Get her!'
The creatures tie her legs and muzzle her.
'Bring her to me.' The Witch shouts.
Y/N is dragged onto the Stone Table before the Witch's feet. She kneels beside her.
'You know, Y/N, I'm a little disappointed in you. Did you honestly think by all this you could save the human traitor? You are giving me your life and saving no one. So much for love.'
'Tonight... the Deep Magic will be appeased! But tomorrow, we will take Narnia forever!'
'In that knowledge, despair... and die!'
She plunges in the knife and Y/N's eyes widen in shock and pain before slowing closing. Lucy and I begin sobbing.
'The Princess...is dead! General. Prepare your troops for battle. However short it may be.'
TIME SKIP
Lucy and I walk up the step and cry. Lucy unscrews her bottle of healing potion.
'It's too late.' I say. 'She's gone. She must have known what he was doing.'
Lucy buries her face into my stomach. Mice approach and begin chewing through the bonds.
'Get away! Get away, all of you!' I shout at them.
Lucy stops me. 'No. Look.'
We follow the mice and remove the bonds.
'We have to tell the others.' I say.
'We can't just leave her!'
'Lucy, there's no time. They need to know, especially Peter.'
'The trees.'
BACK AT ASLAN'S CAMP - PETER POV
The wind blows petals into Aslan's camp and into my tent.
I draw my sword in fear, half expecting it to be Y/N. Edmund looks confused and a bit scared as a Dryad forms out of the petals.
'Be still, my Princes. I bring grave news from your sisters.' she says.
'What news?' I ask.
'It's Y/N. She gave her life for Edmund on the Stone Table. She perished at the hands of The White Witch.'
No. No, she's lying, Y/N can't be dead. This must be some kind of sick joke or pre-battle ritual. She can't really be gone. I need her. I need her to help us win, I need her to help me be King. I need her for so many things.
I can feel my chest tightening and tears falling down my face. There's a high-pitched ringing in my ears.
'Pete, you ok?' I hear Edmund ask, his voice fading in and out.
'Yeah, I'll meet you outside in a bit.' Edmund walks out.
I didn't even get to tell her I love her.
I walk out of my tent towards where Oreius and Edmund are waiting beside a table covered in battle plans.
'She's really gone.' I say.
'Then you'll have to lead us. Peter, there's an army out there and it's ready to follow you.' Edmund says.
'I can't.' I respond. 'Not without Y/N.'
'Y/N believed you could do it. And so do I.'
'The Witch's army is nearing, sire.' Orieus says. 'What are your orders?'
I look at the map and begin to plan.
Hey readers, pan1234girl here.
Question of the chapter: I've got a really mean plan for Y/N and I don't think you guys will like it. Any guesses?
