Chapter 4 (ep2) Vecnas curse

We arrived at reefer ricks house and jeez.
It was almost as gross as a dumpster.
We all exited the car.
Please be here Ed's.
Max could see the sadness on my face so she gave me a reassuring smile.
"It's gonna be ok." She whispered whiles smiling
"Thanks Max." I smiled back
We walked up to the front door
Dustin ring the door bell over and over again.
"Okay well that's settled I guess he's not here." Steve said.
"Eddie! It's Dustin."
"Great." I muttered
"Hey genius, I've never met a drug dealer before but, if that reefer Rick guy comes out and stabs you. I'm not going to be the one comforting mom whiles you get cremated.!"
I said annoyed at his lack of secrecy.
"Shut up,I'm not gonna die."
I flashed my torch through the windows. The house was almost as bad as the garden.
"Look we just wanna talk ok? No cops I swear. We just wanna help!" Dustin yelled again.
"Eddie." He banged on the window.
Dustin kept banging on the doorbell and window screaming eddies name and then ricks and then eddies.
Meanwhiles Max called me over
"Hey,guys?" She pointed at a shed, the light was on
Eddie!
I smiled
I stayed back, you know to watch guard whiles everybody else piled into the shed
I heard chattering. Something along the lines of Steve and his Oar.
Then I heard crashing and screaming mostly Dustin screaming  I ran towards the shed to see Eddie. Holding a broken bottle to Steve throat
"Eddie!" I yelled and his neck snapped towards me.
He dropped the bottle and ran towards me grabbing me and hugging me.
I could hear him sniffle into my shoulder whiles he took in my presence.
"Shhh shhh, your okay. I've got you honey, don't worry." I led Ed's over to the boat and we sat down. I had my legs draped  over his knees and his head was on my chest.
"Honey?" Steve asked Dustin.
"Their a 'thing' now." Dustin said to Robin and Steve.
I wiped eddies tears with my shirt and stroked his hair calming him down.
"We'll give you guys a few minutes." They said as they all walked out.

"I though you were dead you know." I said to him and he sat up and stared at me.
"I wanted to be." He said back
"Honey, those guys out there are gonna want to talk to you , ok? They want to make sure nobody else dies. Your going to have to tell the truth."
"You won't believe me." He said breaking down again.
"I will, I promise." I said cupping both his cheeks with my hands
He stared at me as my thumbs grazed over his tears.

I invited Dustin Max Steve and Robin back into the shed and they all crowded around Eddie and I.
He looked at me and I nodded.
"Eddie..." Dustin did crouching down.
"We just want to talk..." he tried grabbing the bottle from Eddie.
"Okay!" Dustin said when Eddie pulled back the bottle .
"We want to know what happened." Robin said crouching down again.
I was now holding eddies trembling hand.
"You won't b-believe me.." Eddie said sniffling
"Try us." Max said from behind Robin.

"Her body...just like lifted into the air and,uh...and she just like hung there...in the air. And her bones uh m-m-m- her bones started snapping." Eddie said now squeezing my hand. It kind of hurt but he needed it.
"Her eyes man,it..it was like there was something,like inside her head,pulling. I... I didn't know what to do,so I....I ran away...I left her there.." I looked at him sorrowfully.
"You all think I'm crazy,right?" He asked scoffing.
"Ed's.." I said and he turned to me.
"I would never think you were crazy."
"We don't think your crazy." Dustin said
"Don't bullshit me,man! I know how this sounds." He yelled.
"We're not bullshitting you." Max said
"We believe you." Robin said
"Look,what I'm about to tell you might be a little difficult to take." Dustin started
"Okay..?" Eddie said looking at Dustin and rubbing my knuckles
"You know how people say Hawkins is...cursed?" He stated
"Their not...way off. There's another world. A world hidden beneath Hawkins. Sometimes it bleeds into ours." He explained.
"Like ghosts and shit?" Eddie asked, I laid my head on his shoulder. And I swear I saw him blush. Idiot

I zoned out again.
"Y/n" I heard someone say.
"Leave me alone Vecna! I'm done with your games! I haven't done anything!" I yelled back
"Oh but that's the truth" he said and chuckled.
"You let your father leave" he snarled
"No!"
"You caused him to leave"
"No!"
"Dustin will never have a father figure BECAUSE OF YOU!!" Vecna yelled
"NOOO!!!!" I began sobbing and Everyone crowded around me.
Eddie wrapped his arms around me
"Y/n? Jesus Christ she's freezing.!" Eddie told the others.
"This is happening to much, Eddie she will stay here with you." Dustin said.
"Too much?! When else did it happen?!" Eddie asked
"At the video store, in the school. I saw her before I left." Dustin said.
"Jesus y/n!" Eddie said when he looked back down at me.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.
"There not real, there irrelevant." I said weakly sitting up.
"She stays here. With me." Eddie said to the group.
"Ok Eddie, heres a walkie, use it when you need us, and don't leave!" Dustin said leaving.
"Wouldn't dream of it." Eddie said smiling sarcastically.

Later that night Eddie and I were in bed
We decided sleeping in the house was better than the boast so we locked the doors by pushing a wardrobe infront of it and laid down.
"Ricks house is sure a treasure." I said sarcastically.
"It's a treat." Eddie replied looking over at me and laughing. I looked back at him and laughed as well.
When the laughter died down again we found ourselves staring at each other.
