Chapter 10 (ep 4) Dear billy

"No!" I pushed my "mother" off of me and saw Vecna smiling on the ground.

My eyes flashed open and I was in my living room but my mom was nowhere to be seen.

I walked quickly back to the car and hopped in.
"Well?" Lucas asked.
"Just drive." I said back staring out the window.

We soon arrived at the cemetery. I had one last letter to deliver.
Dustin jumped out of the car and jogged up to me
"Y/n...."
"Dustin, please just wait in the car." I told him.
"Y/n, just wait. Y/n, please" he finally caught up to me.
"Dustin just wait-" he cut me off
"Just listen to me. Just, please" he began
"I know something happened back there with mom... was it Vecna?" He asked worried
"I told you, I'm fine. Okay?" I said
"I mean as fine as someone who's hurling towards a gruesome death can be." I smiled but it was quickly replaced by a frown
"Y/n...you know you can talk to me. Right?" He asked
"Yeah, I know that."
"Okay, then why do you keep acting like you can't? Okay, look. I don't need a letter." He said pulling the letters out of his pocket. I don't want a letter. Nobody does." I noticed eddies letter wasn't there.
"Where's eddies?" I asked gesturing to the pile in his hand.
"Robin and Nancy we're gonna drop it off at the shed before the asylum." He must know
"Good."
"As I was saying, I don't want a letter. I'm here. Talk to me, please y/n. We're right here!" He said
"Okay? I'm here." He said sounding sad.
"Just wait in the car this won't be long." I said and walked away from my upset brother.

I walked up to a grave with an oh so familiar name.
"Here lies Levi Henderson."

"Hey dad.." I spoke to the headstone.
"I guess I should start by saying sorry. Sorry for not coming with mom and Dustin to visit. Sorry for not being there when you needed me the most. Mom still cries about you. I hear her whimpers when I brush my teeth. I don't think Dustin remembers you all that much, but if he did, I'm sure he would feel the same pain that I feel as I press my pen to this paper." I read aloud.
Seven years ago when I was 13 my dad got mad at me for taping the recent KISS concert over his Monday night football. Him and mom were fighting that night. I know she misses him, but when he was around it felt like she wished he were gone. He began drinking after that night. And when him and mom fought again regarding Dustin he got drunk and left. He had no intentions of coming back to our house. He wanted to die. And that he did.
"I guess what I'm trying to say dad, is that." I sniffed wiping my tears.
"I'm sorry, for all the missed visits. Everything. I'm just sorry. But hey, I guess I'll be joining you soon enough anyway. Love your bumblebee-"

"Y/n...."
"No!"
"Times up..."
"No Vecna! Please!" I yelled spinning around the open graveyard.
"Pleading with daddy isn't going to help, girl" he said as he walked through smoke.
He was dressed as my dad. He had the tie. The suit, the beard everything.
"I've been waiting to hear those words Y/n. Waiting so very long." He came into view and was banged up and bruised he had a bullet in his forehead
"But it wasn't the full truth, was it, y/n?" He asked me and I cried.
"Im sorry dad!" I yelled
"Is that what you want to hear?" I yelled again.
He came close to me and I could hear his breath.
"You did this" he grabbed me by my throat and teleported us to what seemed to be a red house. Everything was red
He transformed back into his ugly self.
"Please Vecna!" I begged
"Manners won't help you here." He said as his vines wrapped around me
They wrapped around my throat and I could barely breath. He slowly walked up to me.
I whimpered slowly trying to catch my breath.
I all of a sudden heard a song playing.
"With or without you."
I saw from behind this ugly red monster thingy that there was a light. Like a tunnel leading to Lucas Max Dustin and Steve trying to get me to wake up.
My body looked frozen inside and out.
"Y/n, wake up." I heard Dustin yell.
" they can't help you, y/n" Vecna said as he turned from my friends back to a chocking me.
"There's a reason you hide from them." I looked back over his shoulder
"Y/n!" Steve yelled

"...you belong here, with me." His vines wrapped even tighter around my neck and my airways closed.
"Your not really here!" I choked out with a raspy voice.
The song still played.

I loved this song. I had to find a way out of here.
"Oh but I am y/n." He said tauntingly.
His vines became stronger.
"I am." His hand reached out over my face as the song came to its chorus.
I saw over his shoulder again that I began to float as all my friends shouted from me to wake up.

They all replayed in my head as Vecna hand got closer.
I stared at my friends across his shoulder.
"Y/n!" They shouted
"I don't want a letter."
"I love you."
"Eddies gonna be okay."
"Henderson!"
"Are you kidding? I love Ozzy!"
"Idk Ed's your coats a bit big on me.."
"We won!"
"Stupid Russian guards."
"Can I kiss you?"
They all played in my head over and over until I couldn't take it anymore
The songs chorus got more dramatic as I burst open my eyes and ripped a chunk from Vecnas neck.
He fell to the ground and began to run

I ran so fast but Vecna kept trying to kill me by dropping pieces of wood on me.
I kept my mind focused on Eddie, his face as he read my letter. Him hugging me in the shed. Our first time. Sneaking out of school together and back in again. Kissing in the bathroom. I love him.

I woke up to Dustin hugging me
"Your okay!"
"Im here.. im here!" I yelled crying
"Your here!" He yelled crying as well.

"I thought we lost you." Dustin said hugging me tightly.
"I'm still here!" I said out of breath.
"I'm still here.." I said slower

I have to see Eddie.
