We walked down the hall to Jordan's room. When I opened it, we all took a step back. They put a muzzle on his face. There were 3 nurses and 2 doctors trying to inject him with something. "Stop it!" Izumi yelled. "You're treating him like an animal!" Jaylen and Sam yelled. I just walked over and pushed them out of the way. "Leave," I said softly. "You need to get out." One nurse said, grabbing my arm. I slapped her hand away. "LEAVE! EVERYONE! OUT NOW!" I screamed. Everyone backed up a little. "OUTTTTTTTTT!" I screamed louder. Everyone rushed out, including Jaylen, Izumi, and Sam. Jordan keeps struggling. I sit next to him. "Jordan, calm down. I'm right here." I look into his eyes. For real this time. Their so full of sadness and pain. I had to tell him the truth. I can't reach him by just talking. I realize what I have to do. "Jordan, listen to the sound of my voice. Calm down. It's okay." I say, using telepathy. His eyes widened. Then went soft. "Ash, I'm sorry. Iwanted to say something but-" I cut him off with a hug. "It's fine. But I have something to tell you." I say. I tell him everything I told Izumi, Jaylen and Sam. He just listens. Never interrupted me once. When I finished, he just sat there. "Wow, that's intense. I'm sorry about your loss. My parents never come home, and I don't know how to cook. So, I usually stay a friend's place or order something. But their home now. They have been for the past month. They never let me eat and my Dad hits me. I never said anything in fear that they would hurt me worse." He says looking down. "You can live with me. You need to tell the police. They'll go to jail and stay there for a long time. I noticed the cuts on your hands. Is that from your Dad?" I ask. He nods. I take off the muzzle. "My mom and brother won't mind. I know they won't. I'll tell the doctor, so they won't question you until the police get here. And I'll stay with you the whole time. You're my best friend after all." I say smiling. I walk out to talk to the doctor. I tell her everything Jordan said. I saw he face change from interested to angry. "I hate it when patients come in from that situation. I was in that same situation as a kid. That's why I became a doctor. I'll call the police right now." she said. I walked back into the room. Some nurse was smother Jordan with a pillow. I slapped her so hard that she fell to the ground. "SOMEONE GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW!" I yell. "Jordan, are you okay?" He was crying. "I thought I was going to die!" he chokes out. I turn around to the nurse. "WHO ARE YOU?! WHY DID YOU TRY AND KILL HIM?!" I yelled. I grab her by the collar. "Who. Sent. You." I ask. She just looks at me with a blank stare. "What happened? Why am I here?" she asked. I drop her like she's toxic. "YOU JUST TRIED TO KILL HIM!" I screamed. She looked upset and confused. "I'm not even a nurse. I was just walking home when someone came up to me. I don't remember anything until you slapped me." She stands up. Then she looks at Jordan. "Jordan?" she asks, clearly confused. He looks at her. Then his light up with recognition. "Mrs. Green?!
