My mom came rushing into the Café. "ASH!" She yells. "Mom?!" I stood up. "Why are you here? And in the middle of the day too?" I ask. "Put this on." She hands me a ring. I put it on, and it glows. "Come with me. I'm assuming that these 4 know about you?" she asks. We all nod. "Well then, you come too." We all walk out with everyone staring at us. She takes us up to the roof. "How do you know this school so well?" I ask. "I used to go here. Your principal was my best friend when I went here." she says. "She also knows about you." "Why did you tell me this Mom?!" I asked. "Now's not the time." She opens the roof door and locks it once everyone walked through. "Ash, you have to go back." Mom says. My eyes widen. "Go where?" I asked. "Back to your world. It's not safe here anymore." "Why not?" I ask. "Those guys who killed Kevin, they found out about you." she says crying. The image of Sal goes back into my mind. I see 2 figures. I gasp. Izumi and I look at each other. "Sal." we say. "What about him." Jordan asks. We tell them about what happened. "Oh god. This is bad." Jaylen says. "It's this the ring-" "Yes, it is. He never finished working on it but it's your only option right now." Mom says. I stand there, taking everything in. I was leaving the place I called home, to go back to some place where they would watch me. I cried. "I can't go! I don't even remember anyone but Misuki! I can't leave you guys! I can't-" Jordan cuts me off with a hug. "Ash, I know." He says. That's all it takes. Mom, Izumi, Jaylen and Sam hug me too. "Wait, don't I need to go through a screen playing the show for it to work?" I ask, pulling away. "Keni already brought up an 80 in TV for it to work." Mom says. "Who's Keni?" Jaylen asks. "Mrs. Harrison." Izumi and Sam say. "You didn't know her real name? She told us her name at the entrance ceremony. No one calls her that though. It just doesn't feel right." Jordan says. Mom turns the TV on and puts on My Hero Academia. "Okay, it's time." She says. I hug everyone again. "Thank you for being my friend's guys. You have been the best friends I could ever ask for." I say. "And you have been the coolest person we've ever met. When we're older, we'll tell our kids about you." Sam says. "You were the friend I've been wanting for years. I'm sad you have to go but I'll never forget you." Izumi says. "I will think about you every day and brag to everyone that I had the coolest friend on the planet in high school when I'm older." Jaylen says. "Thanks." I turn to Jordan. "Ash, thanks for sticking with me. When my life was upside down, you turned right side up. I don't think I will ever meet a person as kind-hearted, passionate, strong and brave as you. I'll really miss you." I feel the hot tears streak down my face. I hug him. "Thank you Jordan. I'll miss you too." "Awwwwwwwwww!" I hear Izumi, Sam, and Jaylen say. We blush and pull away. Before walking over to Mom, I give Jordan a give peck on the cheek. "Thanks for taking care of me for all these years. If I can ever come back, I'll visit you." "Thanks honey. Here, some things to take with you." Mom hands me a backpack. I take it and walk towards the screen. I turn around and wave. Everyone waves back. Then I turn, face the screen, and walk into my new life.
Authors Note
I know, I know, this story was written terribly. I do believe I mentioned in the description that I wrote this in 7th grade. Strap in bitches because there's more to this story!
