I stare at them both. "You know each other?" I say, completely lost. "Yeah, she was my 6th-grade science teacher," Jordan says. "I would tutor him and some other kids. Even took their class on a couple of field trips. They were my favorite class I have ever taught in my 5 years of teaching." She said. "Okay, I'm sorry for slapping you. But who did you run into on your way home?" I ask. "I accept your apology and thank you for slapping some sense into me. It was a woman. She had on a black leather coat, a green dress, and red heels. Then a diamond necklace and bracelet on her left wrist. She pulled me to the side, asking if I could talk to her. That's all I remember." she said. Jordan's eyes darkened. "You said a diamond bracelet on her left wrist, right?" he asked. "Yeah, it was very pretty too." "That was my mother. She always wear's this diamond bracelet that my grandmother had got for her before she passed away. And she always wear's it on her left wrist because she's left-handed." he says. "The doctor is already calling the cops. We won't have to worried about this anymore." I say. "Wait, what for?" Mrs. Green asks. I look at Jordan. He nods. "Can you come into the hallway for a minute?" I ask. We walk out and shut the door. I tell her everything. She starts to cry a little. "Oh, my gosh, I had no idea that was happening. I wish I did so I could have helped in some way." she says. "I just found out today. I was upset. But at least he told me." I said. We walked back into the room. She told us that she had to go. "Okay, bye Mrs. Green." Jordan says. I wave. "Bye you two." She says waving back. Then she leaves. An hour later, we were playing Among Us. I was the imposter but Jordan didn't know. Just when I was about to kill him, we heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" We both say. We watch and officer walk in. "Good evening you two. Are you Jordan Mac by any chance young man?" He asks. "Yes sir." he replies. "All right. We've been informed about your current situation. Care to explain?" Jordan looks at me. "You want me to tell him?" I sign. "Yes please." he signs back. I turn towards the officer. "He wants me to tell you. Is that alright?" I ask. "That's fine." he says. I explain the best I can. I told him everything Jordan told me. He jots down everything I say. When I finish, he turns to Jordan. "Would you like you press charges against your folks?" Jordan turns to me. "Should I?" he signs. "That's your decision. I would in my opinion." I sign back. He turns back to the officer. "I would." he says. "Alright, that's it from me." He stands. "I'll let your doctor know that I'm finished. Have a good rest of your night." He walks out. Later that night, Jordan was discharged from the hospital. We went to his house to see the cops taking his mother and father away. He decided to sell the house and donate the money to charity. He won his case, and his mother and father were sent to jail for twenty years. Jaylen's mom took in Jordan so he'd had a space to stay. A few weeks later, we were all at lunch, laughing our asses off. Little did I know that I would have to leave this life behind
