Chapter 10

Okay, so I changed the pregnancy because it wasn't right with the timeline. Instead of 16 weeks it's 30 weeks.

Emma:

Blue that is all I see. Laughter is all I hear. I go up and I see my kids all splashing around. And my husband. My wonderful husband throwing them everywhere.
"Haha." I laughed. Seeing him do that
"Come here babe." He said coming near me
"No. Don't you dare. Babe!" I screamed as he picked me uo and threw me
"Haha" the kids laughed
I splashed water at them.
After an hour we got out and we all took showers.
"Mom. Why don't we have a limit on our supply?" Cameron asked as we cooked in the kitchen
"Because your mommy and daddy are really smart, so we have plenty of water to use and not run out. And we have food to last us for years." I told him
"Oh, ok. Is that why we have more power than others?  Cause your really smart." He said
"That's right. I set up a tower and solar panels on our roof to make sure we never ran out." I told him

We were close to being done cooking when I told him to go play.
After 20 minutes everyone came down for lunch.
"Are we going to grandma's today." Liv said
"Yes, we are. After we finish eating. Were gonna walk there okay." I told them
"Can I ride my bike?" Cameron asked
"Oh. Me too" the twins yelled
"Yes, you can babies just stay besides us." Luke said

After we finished eating we headed to mom's. We locked our doors and set the alarm I created to alert any robbery. As we walked neighbors waved and soldiers soluted. I brought my sword, knife, and guns with me. Same with Luke. We finally made it to mom's
"Grandpa" Cameron yelled running inside
"Grandma" the twins yelled running to her
"Auntie!" Olivia said as she was picked up
"My babies. How are you. Have you been good." Mom asked them
"Yes grandma. We went swimming and played dolls together." They told her
"What about you bud?" Travis asked Cam
"I helped mommy cook." He said
"That's good." Travis told him
"Go on and play in the back." I told them as they ran to play something

"Hey mom. Sis. Travis." I said
"Hey honey/Emma/sis." They told me back
"Why don't y'all just go to out house to use power?" I asked them
"Because sweetie you have enough people in your house using the power." Mom said
"Mom, its fine. Its just The kids, Luke, and I in there." I told her
"Umm, I'll go over there later tonight." Alicia said
"Okay then it's settled Alicia will be with us." I said
"Fine, just come by everyday." Mom told me
"We will." I replied

As we go outback I hear the soldiers calling everyone. We go outside and see the guy in charge of this area.

"As the commanding officer of this detachment, I am proud to announced that we are infect free for a six mile radius around the perimeter. We are on the offensive. The ride has most definitely turned. Yeah." He said

"Babe, do you think what he is saying is true." I asked
"I don't know. There something off about him." He said
"Do you think we should tell my mom, about our situation?" I asked him
"It's up to you. Whatever you think is best. You'll be showing soon." He told me
"I know if my calendar is right I'm about 30 weeks. I'm suprised I've kept it hidden this long." I said
"Me too. I'm glad though, that we have this safety net around us." He said
"Yeah. Let's tell my mom tonight." I told him
"Okay" he said

We started paying attention when the crowd got louder. They were passing out food. We don't need it, but we get in line and save it for when do. I'm right behind Ofelia.
"Name. Please." The soldier asked
"Emma Hobbs." I said
"Hobbs?" The soldier asked before looking up at me
"Ma'am. Excuse my lack of knowledge. Please." He said as he looked at me
"At ease soldier." I said as he gave me the food. I then gave it to Luke and we walked back to the house with Alicia and Ofelia.

We madd it back to the house and I told mom we were going home.
"Alicia let's go" I said
"I'm coming!" She yelled
After we got home, we put everyone to sleep. I went and checked on Alicia to see her on her phone.
"Hey Ally." I said
"Hey sissy. What up?" She asked
"You lookdd down earlier. What's wrong?" I asked
"I miss Susan. I miss Matt. I miss the world but I hate that no one tells me anything." She said
"Oh, baby. I miss su-su, too. And I'm sorry about Matt." I said wiping her tears
"Do you want to know why we don't tell you anything?" I asked her
She nodded her head
"It's because we are worried you'll have to grow up quick in this new world." I told her
"But wouldn't it be better if I did?" She asked
"Your right. Okay. So you know how the soldiers keep calling them the infected?" I asked
"Yeah" she said
"Well. My Intel says that they are what we would call, zombies or the dead. If you get bit, scratched, or die from an illness, you come back. The only way to kill them is through the brain." I said quietly
"Why couldn't you just say that? I would have a better understanding of the situation." She said
"Because mom didn't want you to know but now you do." I told her
"I have something else to tell you." I said
"What?" She asked
"I'm pregnant." I told her
"What!! How far along are you?" She asked
I grab her hand and put it on my stomach. "I'm 30 weeks along." I told her
"Oh, sissy. This is great news. I'll be an aunt again." She said
"Just don't tell Nick or mom, yet. I have to tell them." I told her
"Okay. I won't." She said
"Good. Now get some sleep and charge your phone. Love you, sweet dreams." I told her turning the lights off

I went into my room, to see Luke in bed already.
"So, I told Alicia." I said
"That's good. How she take it?" He asked
"Good. She's excited." I said
"That great, babe. Now, you need sleep. We have the alarms on, so we can both get sleep." He said
"Okay." I said getting in bed

As my head hit the bed, I knocked out.
