Chapter 12

Emma:

I woke up and did my usual routine. After I readied myself I started breakfast. I made omelets today.
"Mom, it's time to get up." I said as I entered her room, opening the curtains
"I'm up, sweetheart." She said
"Food ready." I said leaving her room.
I walked out to see Luke coming out the room ready for the day.
"Morning, babe." I said kissing him
"Morning, hon. I'll get the kids." He said heading towards the twins first. I walked in the opposite direction towards Alicia's room.
"Sis, breakfast ready. Get up." I told her moving her blanket
"Uhhh, I'm up. God, Emma." She said getting out of bed

I leave her room laughing. Downstairs I hear the kids.
"Morning babies." I said
"Morning mommy/mom." They all said
After a minute or two mom and Alicia came down
"Morning grandma. Auntie." The kids said
"Morning kiddos/rugrats." Mom and Alicia said
"So kids your father and I have some important news to tell you." I said
"What is it mom?" Cameron asked
"Your going to be a big sibling again. Olivia you'll get to be a big sister." I said
"That's great mom. Is it a boy?" He asked
"Yes. It's a boy." I said
"Yes, a baby brother." He said happily
"Girls?" I asked
"Can we play dolls with him?" They asked me
"Yes, you can." I said
"Then ok, mommy." They said
"Livy?" I asked
"I don't want another sibling." She yelled running to her room
"Olivia!" I yelled
After a few minutes of silence mom laughed
"Mom, why you laughing?" I asked
"Don't you remeber how you reacted when I told you about Nick? You were about 9 and you screamed you didn't want a sibling. In the end you protected and loved him with all your heart." She said
"I do. Okay, let me go talk to her." I said going to Olivia's room.
"Baby? I'm coming in ok." I said
I saw her underneath the blankets.
"Baby, Livy, why don't you want another sibling?" I asked
"What if you don't love me the same anymore?" She asked
"Oh, baby. That's impossible. Of course I'll love you the same. Even your daddy too. This baby won't take out love for you away. You know why?" I asked
"No" she said
"Because your daddy and I have infinite love for you and your siblings. We will always love you no matter what." I said
"Okay, mommy. I'm sorry I yelled." She said
"It's okay, baby." I said hugging her
"Let's go downstairs, okay." I said
We walked downstairs and left to mom's.

We reached mom's house and Alicia went straight to her room.
"Kid's go play in the room, okay." I said
They left and we saw Travis come up to us and hug mom. She hugged back. Afterwards we sat at the table and were about to talk about how we are getting Nick back and I guess Eliza.
"Did you get any sleep?" Travis asked as Chris came up
"So what's the plan?" Chris asked ignoring the question
"Oh, we were just talking about it." Travis said
"Shouldn't I be part of the discussion? I just think someone should be looking out for mom's best interests." He said
"Were looking out for everyone." Travis told him
"Are we?" He said looking at me
"We know your upset, Chris. We all are." Mom said
"Madison, would you please not interrupt me while I'm talking to my father about family matters, okay?" Chris said
"Chris would you please not interrupt my mom when she is talking. Don't forget we are family, too. Or did you forget that." I said
"Emma, why don't you stay out of this. We all know you don't like my mom or consider us family." He said
Before I could retort Travis took him to another room.
"Babe let's go. Mom I'll be in the room with the kids." I said
We left and went to play with the kids knowing stress isn't good for me.

Around evening the kids all fell asleep except Cameron who played on his phone. As we walked out we saw Travis come barging in the house.
"Did you know what he was gonna do?" He asked mom. I am so confused right now
"What's going on?" I asked walking in the room
"Madison and Daniel are torturing a man." He said
"Mom! What the hell?" I asked
"I'm not doing anything. Daniel is doing it. This man, he can be the key to us knowing where Nick is." I said
I looked at Luke and we nodded our heads.
"Take us to him." I said
We went to the Trans house and saw him.
"Travis. Stop. Stop." Mom said as he barged in the room
"Travis, stop." Daniel said
"Tell them. Tell them, what you told us." Mom said
"Tell them about cobalt." Daniel told the man
