I am enjoying my vacation. It was a good time to have a break from it all. Pero kahit na sobrang ganda ng mga places na pinuntahan namin, I couldn't help but keep on thinking about Jia.

In the middle of our trip I received an email from Sir Tony. It read:

Dear Ms. Isabel Beatriz de Leon,

I hope this email finds you well. We are pleased to inform you that you have been included in the Under-23 Women's Volleyball Team that will compete in the Asian Under-23 Volleyball Championships on May 1-9, 2015.

Attached with this email is the schedule of training to be held in the Blue Eagle Gym, Ateneo de Manila University.

Thank you for your commitment to the National Team!

I smiled as I read the email. Sinabihan na ako noon na pasok ako sa national team pero this confirms it and made the talks legit. I typed my reply and sent it. After a few minutes, I received a Twitter DM from Jia.

Jia: Hello Bei Bei! May na receive ka ba na email?

Me: Well, hello there. Email, yes. Kamusta from you, wala.

Jia: Ay, don't worry kahit di kita kinamusta, ang importante, MISS KITA!

Me: Aww I miss you too Baby Ji! We're gonna see each other sa training diba?

Jia: Of course! Pero darating ka ba? Looks like your enjoying San Fo eh!

Me: Definitely I'll be back noh! Di ka na makapaghintay no?

Jia: Kapal naman! Pero yeah. Tagal din since we last saw each other.

Me: Don't worry magsasawa ka rin. We'll be together everyday.

Jia: Looking forward to that!

Me: Dinner with me when I get back ok?

Jia: Yes, of course!

Me: Love you! Can't wait to be back! <3

Jia: Love you too! Come back soonest! <3

Oh my! Jia said she loves me too! Ang saya ko pero hindi ako sigurado kung normal "love" lang ba yan. I checked my Twitter for updates. Timing naman na kita ko tweet ni Jia na 20seconds ago lang.

@jumorado10: You're a keeper.

Kaka DM lang namin may ganito na kaagad. Hay Beatriz! Huwag kasi mag assume masyado. Then I saw the exchange between her and Miguel. Naglalambing yata. Nagtuturuan pa kung sino ang keeper sa kanila dalawa. This is too painful to bear. I turned off my phone and tried hard to sleep.

The next day I tried walking around the neighborhood to get a feel of the place. Di rin nagtagal naisip ko na naman si Jia. How would she react if she sees a place as beautiful as this? Malamang mawawala na naman mga mata nun sa tuwa. Such a cutie! Hay!

I decided to drop by the Golden Gate Creamery. Popular ice cream shop siya dito sa San Fo. As I was checking on the flavors I saw this very simple but meaningful flavor: Strawberry Julia. What? Hanggang sa ice cream nandito si Jia? WTF! I asked the scooper if I can have the Strawberry Julia. Ang he said yes naman. So I got a scoop for myself. Don't get me wrong, pero when it comes to ice cream flavors I'm a Cookie Dough, Mint Chip, Butter Pecan type of person. Yung tipong unusual and unique flavor. Pero I got this Strawberry Julia instead dahil nga Julia. Kahit siguro may Ampalaya Julia na flavor yun parin bibilhin ko eh.

While eating my ice cream napa daan ako sa isang character shop. They sell stuffed toys with all kinds of designs. Then I saw this big Chocolate Chip cookie stuffed toy! Oh my! Favorite ni Jia cookies! I must get this for her. I can't wait na maibigay ko to sa kanya. I know she'll like it.

Umuwi ako with a smile on my face. Ang layo ko na nga sa Pilipinas ang dami pa ring mga bagay that reminded me of her. Siguro nga may chance. Maybe if I could read her well enough and have enough courage to show her how I feel, then probably nga malaki ang possibility that she would let me love her. But I must return back to her. Konti na lang, makababalik na ako sa ngiti nya.
