Not forgotten

I run up the steps in a panic. "I'm so sorry" "it's ok his fine" Trudy assured me but that didn't stop my heavy heart. "He got tired so I let him lay on the couch" i had no doubt in my mind that my baby was asleep. "Where Denise" "she was at a friends house but I messaged Jack and Nia when it started getting late I'm so sorry I had no idea it was going to take that long. If I did I would have just had him hang out in my office" "it's ok plus he loved seeing his brothers and dad" I nod as Trudy opens the door. "I checked on him a lot" she assured me and I had no doubt that she even had someone posted outside the door. I rush inside kneeling beside my sweet boy. I gently brush his hair out his face. "Ollie" I said gently running my hand through his hair.

After a few moments of me trying to coax him away he lets out a groan before rubbing his eyes. "Mummy" he exclaimed tiredly the moment he saw me. "Hey baby boy" I said picking him up his head instantly resting on my shoulder. "Will daddy be long he told me he would read to me before he left" he rubs her face trying to stay away. "If he is a long time I'll be sure to tell him he has to early tomorrow" he nods falling back asleep slowly.

"He did have a stomach ache Adam gave him a lot of lollies and chocolate" I quietly laughs "of course Adam is the sweet master" i said smiling rocking slightly so I don't wake my sleeping boy up.

I put my sleeping child in my bed, I didn't want him to freak out if he woke up. Which he would if I placed him in his bed, his a lot like Jay in that aspect. I start my night routine quietly. Changing into comfortable pyjamas before cleaning up the house. A knock at the door startles me. I quietly move towards the door opening it my right hand that's hidden by the door holding my gun.

I immediately hide the gun seeing Dean carrying a tired Zeppelin. I was so confused but none the less took Zeppelin who snuggled into me. "Daddy say I can play with Ollie" "in the morning star" I rub her back "do you want to sleep with your daddy or in Ollie's room" "with you" not an option but also something I wasn't going to say no to. I walk upstairs putting her in my bed careful not to wake Oliver.

"What's going on" I ask Dean who closes the door having finished getting their bags. "We're moving here told Sam before we drove here" I nod "you sure" "we have no one there" he shrugs "plus I can't stay near her anymore" I smile walking over hugging him. "We're more than willing to have you here" "Denise is with Jack and Nia tonight. Star and Ollie are in my bed you can go up rest I got them I don't have to be in till late tomorrow" he sighs before nodding.

I made breakfast for the entire family like normal. It one tradition that I wasn't willing to let go of. Dinner once a week and a big breakfast once a month. However I make a big breakfast every Sunday and Wednesday for anyone to come, my children I don't invite random people off the street. "Mumma can I stay home and play with Star" "please grandma please" Zeppelin begged hanging off the kitchen counter. The two were in their pyjamas messy hair they had not long woken up. Before I could say anything Henry walks down "daddy I missed you I promise I tried to stay away but I just couldn't" Henry picks Oliver up before picking Zeppelin "now when did you get here" "late last night" Dean answered walking in "well there's plenty of food I know Adam is here think Jay is as well why don't you get them" I tell Oliver who's face lights up in delight "it's my favourite bit of the morning is Justin here to" "I don't know go find out" "can I go to" Zeppelin asks "of course be careful when waking Jay up" I warn her "I keep her safe Mumma" Oliver grabs me dragging her away. "Everything good with the case" "yeah all sorted" he said kissing my head walking past making our coffees. His the coffee man in the house mainly him.

"Mumma you never answered my question" Oliver said we were all sitting around the table the food lining the middle. "I know I think you should ask your dad" "ohh what's the question" Adam asks "can I stay home from school to play with Star" Oliver asks flashing his puppy dog eyes that Sam taught him. Justin laughs "oh good luck with that one he never let me skip school" "you never went to school to skip" Adam exclaimed "don't be dumb like them Ollie" "I forgot to tell you mumma that I confused jays girlfriend" "a six year old can even see it Jay" Justin points out "how do you know" "oh I don't I just think it's funny he knows" "he has all of you as siblings of course he knows" I said rolling my eyes.

Henry said no to the question so it was kinda no surprise I find out that he had been picked up early. I wasn't panicking by no means when I showed up to be told he had been picked up. I knew it was one of his siblings which one he talked into picking him up. "So who took him" Erin asks walking into my office with files I had been waiting on. "Don't know yet no one is answering their phones" I sigh "a problem for later what did you find" she laughs "my money is on Justin Adam maybe even jay...back to this Diablo has a record pages long only two problems one no one has a face for the name two his name is always connected to troyanda and Dzhuli" "rose" "what" "it's rose the first work the second is Julie in Ukrainian" "so name ok that makes it easier I'll get on finding them" "get Hunter and Paula on that focus on the Ukrainian side there's clearly a connection" she nods walking away. "Erin...get Shawn to run point on this...someone has to ring Matt so when you have a chance or get someone else to" she nods walking away. This wasn't a case that was going to go away it was a month long type of case. Erin and Shawn were my number two if I can't run the team like normal. They were either end of one stick. Erin was chaotic but always got results while Shawn was more aware of the rules but that doesn't mean he follows them it's more of a suggestion.
