Two friends

I sat in a coffee shop opposite an old friend, finally having a chance to catch up after not talking forever. All my children were hanging out together, don't know what they are doing.

"So I have a confession to make" I look at the man opposite me confused "so I looked up your parents well i had Elise look them up" I slowly nod very overwhelmed with the information. "I knew your mothers last name was Watson and fathers is Jackson" I nod again watching his hand hover over the file "you don't have to read it I do know you though you would want to know everything about them and considering I never actually replayed you for helping me get sober" I take a deep breath "you don't have to repay me" "uh London has some fashion business, Ariel is in France from what I can tell, Laura is in Chicago, Ryan you were right about that surprised you haven't run into him he seems to have been arrested in Chicago quite a few times they all seem good" I nod "I know you would probably want some details before" I smile "your mothers in prison and your dad we couldn't find him but you probably could if you wanted to" he added "thank you Jubal" he smiles "seriously you have no reason to do this but it means the absolute world to me" he smiles "in some world we would have ended up together two FBI agents wow" he mused "maybe" "you were always Hanks girls anyone could see it he wasn't here and I didn't meet him until years later but even back then I could tell" "back then he had a wife" he smiled "I heard about your marriage" he nods knowing exactly what I was saying "hey maybe I could call Sam see if Tyler and Abigail want to hang out I'm sure your kids" "oh Oliver loves meeting people he is a highly social probably my most social child...as for Denise I think she'll love meeting anyone her age she doesn't like hanging out with her brothers" he smiles "also think they would all like meeting each other seeing who these people are that they see pictures of" he laughs nodding. Jubal and I had always sent pictures and called, mainly sent pictures. He has pictures of every single one of my kids all the way back to Will, even if we didn't know each other when they were younger.

"Mummy mummy look ace brought me a tiger" Oliver said rubbing up to me showing me the stuffed tiger he had "and look I have a balloon" he showed me as I pick him up. "Ju Ju don't tell Erin but your my favourite fbi after mummy and she has so many cool people with her" "we had an idea" I cut my chatty son off "so Jubal made a call and" "are we meeting Tyler and Abigail" Oliver's whole faces lights up "yeah buddy your going to spend time with your mum for a bit while I go pick them up and then we will go to the park" "will you play with me Ju Ju" "you will have Abby and your brother" "but I love playing with everyone" "ok ok" Jubal laughs ruffling Oliver's hair making said boy pout. Jubal said goodbye to all of us before walking away to his car.

"I sat here" I told them "wow" Oliver said "did you watch the animals" "sometimes" we were in the zoo. Jubal knew this and was going to call when he was nearby. "I worked more it also wasn't this popular" he nods. "I love it can we move" "what about your dad he won't move" "oh right we have to visit every week" I laugh at Oliver.

"Abby" he said running over to the girl who probably had no idea who he was. Not in person anyway. "Hello Ty" i said hugging him I had met the two countless times. I look over to see Jubal introducing Oliver to Abigail as well as my other two children. "That's Denise and Oliver my kids" "I know but thanks you for reminding me of their names I couldn't remember them" I laugh at him "Neice this is Tyler" I told her leaving them to talk. "So it happened we always talked about this day" "we did don't think either of us envisioned it looking like this" he laughs shaking his head "think you would have punched me if I told you you would have a baby the same age as Abby" I hear jay and Adam laughing "you two don't have to stick around go explore Erin is over at the apartment or she was" "you sure this was meant to be a family holiday" Adam questioned clearly not wanting to leave "I'm sure" I nod smiling.

"You need closure Sam" "from what" "your childhood I still remember when I met you when you ran away" "I ran away all the time because I knew that was my only weapon to fight my mother" I shrug "there was also only one time I ended up here the last time where you took me to quantico helped me fill everything out let me live with you...I wouldn't be an agent if it weren't for you" he smiles "you were also my brother one I never had but really needed" he kisses my head "hey anything you need you know that" "that's why I love you Jubal" I lean my head against his shoulder. "U don't know what I would do with Ollie" "you always did have an affliction for young kids" he mused i smiles watching my two kid interact with his "so you and Hank finally together" I shake my head "he has his own room down the hall" "you know your the only reason we took Hailey on saw she was apart of his team and put in the good word but don't tell anyone" "well if you must know if I couldn't take Erin you would have been getting a phone call from me" he laughs knowing how true it is. We use each other as resources way more than anyone thinks. It was harder to trace if we are looking something up that isn't related to a case.
