A Whole New World

I was in New York for work. I also brought Denise and Oliver. Henry did offer to keep them but they were so excited I figured why not. I didn't know how long I was going to be here so for now the plan is they will come to the office with me. Jays coming up in a week, Henry will come up sooner if he can tear himself away. Adam was a couple hours behind, he begged as much as Oliver did to come. Don't think he realised he could just come and I technically couldn't stop him. That he was a grown ass adult, despite how much I wanted him to be my baby boy.

"Ju Ju" Oliver exclaimed running up to the man jumping into his waiting arms. "Thanks for coming" he said to me "yeah no problem hope no one minds they will be in a room Adams coming up so I can force him to take them" he smiles listening to Oliver "you know I have two godfathers you and uncle Vinny" I hear before I walk over to Isobel "Adam will call me when his in New York and take them" "I don't mind Sam I'm glad to see them though they both have grown a lot" I nod smiling watching Jubal with Oliver. "Come on" I said making Oliver jump out of Oliver's arms. "I can help mummy" "I know but right now mummy is going to help them" he pouts and come over grabbing my hand.

I was here because jubal and I worked a case together when I was in New York, apparently what they have now is connected and it's all hands on deck.

I sat at a random desk reading the file making notes. Everyone was working outside. Denise and Oliver were at the other end of the table. Denise was doing amazing distracting him. "Jackie is going to be so upset he couldn't come" Oliver said "he already knows baby I told him he has a lot of work to do Nia as well but she might come up for a New York adventure" I told him my eyes not leaving the file I was reading. "we can go to the zoo and park and" "we only been here for a few hours Ollie plus mum has to work" "but" "Ace will be here soon" Denise assured him. He pouts but nods.

"Hey Jubal you checked this out" I ask handing passing him the photo "zoom in there" "his hiding something" his eyes widen "if I remember rightly the second in our case had a scar right around there" "the one we didn't get" he finishes "he never stopped" "we never thought he did" I said as he rubs his face. If they had of just let us work the case. "Ok I need these parks the rivers drained everything" Jubal commands "there are more bodies he never stopped" he said looking at me "I'll get Erin to come over with the files" I said pulling my phone out. Yes I brought the finished file. Not all working files they were back in my basement. No doubt Jubal has his hidden somewhere, a different life.

"Hey" Adam said walking over hugging me "everything ok" "yeah yeah" "you sure we can help" "no leave this to me and Jubal just take Oliver and Denise on some adventure" he nods "keep them safe" "hey Adam how are you doing man" Jubal said coming over shaking his hand. "You sure" "yeah" I assure him walking over to the room Olive and Denise were in. "Ace" Oliver said jumping up into his arms. "Make sure they don't cause to much trouble" I said to Denise who nods smiling I hear Adam gasp dramatically "she thinks we cause trouble" Adam said to Oliver "well you two did just get into trouble" I said "I'm never going to live that down" he moaned making me laugh. "Jay will be here tomorrow maybe this afternoon Erin gets in a few hours nia might be coming with Jay...I haven't heard from Dean but star might join Sam and Jess are here as well they had meeting so but they are in the city" "this is turning into a family vacation should I call Justin make him come" "he can come if he wants I don't mind but no" "trouble" Oliver finishes for me making me smile.

"I brought all your info you had" Erin said walking in "thank you" "so what are we looking for" "anything that we missed turns out we got the wrong guy or at least his partner...there are more bodies" I told her she nods sitting down and beginning to go through the files.

"Jubal I was there when you fell while everyone was trying to help you and couldn't I helped you get back up. I showed you that you could so please" "it's ok Sam I will forever be indebted to you for helping me get sober even if you also helped me drink more than once" "I was scared of you disappearing" "heard your family" "six years ago I never actually did anything just focused on my baby boy" we were both reading over the file just talking. "I remember you mentioning that some of them live in New York" "London pretty sure Ryan lived here to but his on the opposite side of the law from what I know" "oh yeah what's his name might have come across him" "uh Ryan Jackson or Ryan Watson"  "I know London is London Jackson so it's probably Ryan Jackson" I shrug "you know I wiped them from my life the moment I changed my name" "I know how are the boys and nia" I smile we always had a way of just casually talking and reading the files. "They are amazing Jack can't come I don't think Will can either but everyone else is coming we are having a New York adventure" i told him smiling loving talking about my kids like I always had.
