The Creel family, a well-respected household with picture-perfect exterior arrived in Hawkins in 1959.
Consisting of a father and mother and two children to follow them in name.
Victor and Virginia Creel were their names. They were married happily, seemingly having no hauntings to follow them from town to town.
Alice Creel. Age fifteen. The eldest Creel child. Alice was a child who was materialistic. Loved the joys that money brought along with her father's job. Fancy clothes to show off to the new neighbors. Polar opposite to her younger brother.
Henry Creel. Age twelve. The youngest in the Creel family. Always misunderstood. Always confused as to why people make the choices they do. The realist who saw what the world really was and the people who resided inside of it. Even his mother, father, and sister. All were people who put up a front to the new people they were introduced to. Put up a front to hide the evil choices that they chose to make.
Choices that could easily reverted but another choice to ignore the good choice.
Henry found serenity in the silence that created a sense of dread in those in the presence of it. He found serenity in the creatures, the misunderstood creatures, in the world that only worked to stay alive.
Predator and prey. The two groupings in the build-up of life. One on the hunt so that order is in place. The other is too weak to admit to the wronging they produce.
Even the innocent were never truly innocent. At least in Henry's mind.
Few thought of these ideologies in life, even fewer at this age.
Henry Creel's age and open-mindedness to the truth of the world created the pathway to how Henry acted.
Closed off to the outside yet to the misunderstood he was an open book. It takes a certain mindset to connect with the hidden superior kind.
As time went on, Henry started to understand so much more about himself and his capabilities to the point where he was able to change the thinking process of creatures opposite to himself.
He spent his time evaluating his abilities using outside given equipment until he decided he was strong enough to work into the minds of people who were supposed to love him most.
Find their flaws.
And make them pay for their mistakes.
Especially since Virginia Creel has her "messed up" son scheduled a visit with a doctor in the morning.

Madelyn Brenner daughter to Dr. Martin Brenner. Dr. Brenner is a research scientist who stepped into the mystery and controversy of the world. The unexplained occurrences that made up the unexplainable disappearances of people that stories end right with an unsolved case. Their cases fall through, hidden from the public.
Madelyn is biologically Brenner's daughter, his only child.
Madelyn was thirteen when she met Henry Creel.
When she met a boy who was confused by how he managed to get stuck in a chair with wires connected to him. Yet satisfied with the events that had taken place days prior.
Dr. Brenner noticed a difference in his daughter from a young age.
She was never able to get along with the other children in the metaphoric sandbox.
Brenner has never been able to get his daughter to interact properly until she stumbled into the room when he met the now "dead" Henry Creel for the first time.
And for the first time, both of the children could see themselves in another human being apart from their own.
