Jennie still had yet to have most of her questions answered. Why? Well, she wondered the exact same thing. Perhaps she was only scared of the truth. Why did the truth sound so terrifying, she wondered as she hid in her so-called bedroom. She had been in there most of the evening, struggling to process every piece of information she was given.

She sat by a window pane on the floor. It was as large as the walls. The bottom touched the floor while the top was arched and nearly touched the ceiling. She hugged her knees to her chest and rested the side of her head on the glass, watching the angels fly and hearing the strength of their wings ripping the air. The sound was strangely soothing.

"Hey." She glanced behind her and noticed Jisoo peeking her head out with a cautious smile, "May I come in?"

Jennie couldn't help but chuckle quietly, "Since when did you ever ask permission to come in my room?"

From the smile and the relief swimming in her eyes, Jisoo knew it was safe to enter. Jisoo walked in and sat herself across from Jennie and for a moment, they sat in silence. Just watched the angels fly and the castles float.

"I know I should be freaked out but I can't help but find all this..." she motioned outside, "...beautiful," Jisoo quietly said.

Jennie looked forward and found herself smiling from the sight of her best friend. Her head tipped upwards to where the sunlight shined with her heart shaped lips curled upwards as if basking in the sight. Jisoo then playfully rolled her eyes,

"The only downside of being here is, you can't say any bad words." Jennie raised her eyebrows and smiled in amusement,

"Can't or won't say anything?" she teased. Jisoo scoffed,

"I literally cannot say a dang curse word!" She gasped and groaned and stared upwards, "Really? Not even dang? Dang! Dang! Oh what the fudge!?"

Jennie laughed loudly and Jisoo smiled from the sight. She laughed with her for a moment until it grew silent when suddenly Jisoo looked down, plucking on the loose string from her white dress.

"So, the nightmares you have been telling me for years were actually a memory? You really lived through...that?" Jisoo asked with a small frown. Her eyes found Jennie's and Jennie sighed. Jisoo was fighting back tears again.

"I guess so. But I wonder why I can't remember anything else," Jennie pointed out and relief swam in Jisoo's eyes, as if grateful for a question that can remove her from Jennie's nightmare. They never did well when either one of them cried. Because when one cries, so does the other. So, Jisoo sighed and rested the side of her head against the glass as well,

"It seems that they don't know the answer to that question either," Jisoo said. Jennie lifted her head from the window and stared at Jisoo quizzically,

"What do you mean?"

Jisoo sighed, "Well, when I was awkwardly sitting with the angels, by myself I may add," she sent a pointed look towards Jennie and Jennie simply smiled innocently. She rolled her eyes with a playful grin before continuing, "They mentioned how the moment you landed on earth, your memories vanished. But, you weren't scared. You were oddly calm."

Jennie nodded before looking down, "Maybe it's a good thing I don't remember," she lifted her face and smiled sadly, "I think it's better to forget what I witnessed as a kid. Especially seeing my mother..." she paused and sighed. "I shouldn't have said that." Jisoo let out a small puff of air before standing up and brushing down her dress.

"So, I forgot to mention to you that I kind of explored the castle and I have seen some things," she grinned mischievously and extended her hand down to her best friend, "Want to check it out with me again?"
