Once your companion had given you a bit of privacy when he stepped inside the bathroom of the hotel room he had booked for the two of you to stay until the end of the week, your delighted demeanour instantly vanished as the moment is quite rare. You've utilised the first few minutes in congratulating yourself for managing to remain putting up an act as a satisfied and happy lover towards James for the past month that resulted in his complete trust with you. Smirking to yourself, you mentally exclaim that James is not the only one that is quite good when it comes to acting, being confident with your own skill that even fooled him until now.
Deciding that it's enough time to waste that was also used by you waiting the arrival of your helper, you remained cautious and alert as you gazed at the still closed bathroom door. You carefully stand up from being seated on the bed, already informing James that you would be prepared to sleep when in truth, you are preparing for your escape. Passing through the closed bathroom as quietly and as near as you can, you intently listen through the other side of the locked door. It's clear that the crucial part of your plan is to not get caught caused by whatever factor. Crossing out him seeing you, you were left to be silent and stealthy as he might hear you.
The waiting part makes you anxious and nervous that despite you try to remain quiet, your quickened breathing seemed to be echoing through your ears. Once you clearly hear something louder than it, you relax. You soon breathed out a sigh in relief, internally grateful for the quite lucky coincidence to hear quite a loud running water within the bathroom that would be undeniably useful later on to conceal the noise of the door unlocking and opening. A soft knock with a certain knowing beat soon made itself known of your accomplice finally arriving. Before you would meet up with them, you've taken a final glance at the still closed bathroom door.
You waited for a few seconds for assurance that James hadn't heard the noise, sighing in relief once more when the occasional sound of running water remained along with some muffled humming. Deciding that you've had enough waiting and knowing that your time is limited and is decreasing, you let your footsteps be silenced by the carpeted floor as you approach the door. You disable the lock before letting the doorknob turn, carefully opening it to avoid any creaking occurrence. Two familiar figures greeted you immediately right at the entrance of the room, seeming to be relieved themselves. Michi beamed upon seeing you as Cale gives a thumbs up.
Snapping out of their joyous, but silenced congratulations of your victorious first phase of the organised plan, Michi ushers you outside before leading you to another room far from yours to prepare. Both you and Michi went inside in an instant while Cale remains outside, being seated on a bench along the less crowded hallway where other temporary residences wander around. He's the one to guard while you and his sister continue the next phases of your plan. With a newspaper at hand, Cale skims through the texts present while mainly listening to some conversations of anyone nearby while being alert for an individual that would look for you.
