A deep sense of patriotism and wanting to protect those that are weaker than yourself are just among the many reasons behind why you joined the army. You also wanted to prove in this patriarch society that even a woman such as yourself is capable to fight for your country. It's time for this century to end in a shift of stagnant ideas about how men are the only ones achieving success and recognition. But such a major change cannot be done by you alone that left you to begrudgingly act and portray as a man to represent your family for the upcoming war. With your father heavily injured and being the only heir, the responsibility was yours to bear.

Disguising yourself as a man and hiding your real identity pose many risks, especially within the training grounds and the camp that your fellow soldiers is occupying. You may be underestimated and heavily looked down upon or another worse, being taken advantage of by their uncontrollable desires. But it seems that you don't need to worry about that, seeing as you are fairly certain that you can take care of yourself. Even with subtle reluctance from the man that holds a high ranked position in the army he personally oversees, you were still able to prove your worth and capabilities by being one of the most skilled and determined soldier among all.

You also got a connection with the general that assists in training you all, with him being a close friend. Your bitter view of men was an exception for Albert, seeing as he had been nothing but kind, understanding, and even proved himself worthy to gain your trust. After all, if he does not acquire such traits, then you would have found yourself standing before your family once more while facing the disgrace you've caused them by becoming someone you are supposedly not. He was the only one that knows your secret, letting you be while remaining to guide you whenever he can to avoid any unnecessary attention drawn to you that would cause suspicion upon you.

Night had also become your ally, hindering a clear view of your figure compared to when it is daylight. This certain time is clearly different, sensing the pressure and intensity the dusk brings. The secret invasion towards the enemy camp will commence later, providing the opportunity for you and the others to reveal each of your own improved skills. From the treacherous sessions of training alone and sometimes with others when there is a lesser risk for your secret to be known, you decided to rest for now and give it your all later. Deeming that you had acquired your sufficient much needed rest and double checking everything for tomorrow, you went for a walk.

Along with the sounds of wildlife a distance away from the camp, the snores from your fellow soldiers disturb the night that left you amused. Even with your comfortable clothing that would prepare you to continue your rest, it left you feeling warm even through the cold wind of the night. The dusty ground met with the soles of your shoes that left gentle thumps as your feet unconsciously led you to a certain tent that stands out among the simple ones that were utilized for rest alone. Your usual meetup with the general and your trusted friend commenced once you stepped inside his temporary residence, finding him already waiting with tea prepared for you.
