The landscape outside had its varied colours turning to a darker shade once the brightened rays from the sun were absent because of the cotton shaped clouds passing by and blocking it for the mean time. Albert had his gaze focused on the front yard of his manor, being on an eager lookout for someone arriving by a carriage that he had sent to get you. His eyes also seemed to be absent from its vibrant state, dull caused by the frustration he continued to have right after acquiring a displeasing information. Albert had heard about the news that you would leave the country, deciding to start anew and he couldn't have that. He would do any means necessary.
His reasoning behind it is quite simple, though such degree of it might be unacceptable to most, knowing that it really such an absurd situation for you two. The two of you are very good friends that had led him to harbour deepened feelings for you, though you remained unaware of it all as he feared that the current relationship he has with you would be ruined. He's unsure why he won't confess, but his consciousness always revealed that you might see him as someone crazy in love with you based on his unusual behaviour that shows just how much he loves you. It will only stray you away sooner, but now that you're purposefully leaving him, he had decided.
With his fear that he will be left alone, comes his urgency and desperation and despite knowing your view about him might change, he commences on his plan to have you. It was such a good time to execute it that your disappearance might have been because of you finally leaving when in truth, you will be staying within his mansion, locked up to never leave him. His expressionless countenance is replaced by giddiness once he had seen a carriage finally making its arrival. He then makes his leave to greet you personally once you've stepped inside his abode to give you the usual hospitality as you are more than welcome to make a visit that he'll be glad to receive.
Stopping the joyous conversation you had with Master Jack as he led you to the steps of the manor, you beamed upon seeing Albert waiting at the entrance. Displaying enough joviality, you gave a wave as a greeting while making your approach when Master Jack left you two alone. "Welcome, Y/N. I'm glad that you've arrived safely. How was your journey?"
Albert initiated for a hug in which you accepted before he was mildly distracted by the comfort that caused his hold around you to be more secure before he was brought back to reality once you've responded with a smile, feeling empty when you also let go of the embrace. "It was fine. The scenery remained breathtaking."
Albert only smiled in response of your optimism, gesturing for the two of you move forward as you followed him while he also starts another conversation. "You're as positive as always. Though, I might guess that you want some change of landscapes? Seeing as you've planned on visiting another country?"
