As expected, we did win. All thanks to me, obviously.

Now you might be thinking, for a girl who doesn't like to mingle, she sure knows how to work her way through them.

Well you see, I wasn't always this closed off person; the one who stays at home all day and pig out while watching random videos on the internet. No, I wasn't that girl before. In fact, I used to go out every single weekend. Not just "hanging out at the mall with my friends" kind of going out, but the "party till the sun rises" kind of going out.

Hard to believe right?

Well, believe it or not, I was that chick. The chick that dances with random strangers and goes home at the wee hours of the morning.

All of that changed though when my grades went down and my mom humiliated me in front of a crowd. It was so awful. I was very ashamed of myself and it made me think twice about what I was doing with my life.

It's not like I drink or smoke weed when I party, it's just that I'm a very wild one by nature. I like to be fun and care free and I have quite the reputation of being the life of the party. My friends would be there to back me up and support me each time I do something crazy. There was this one time when my friends dared me to take my shirt off at a rave. They didn't think I would do it, but I did. And I even rode on a random guy's shoulders.

But like I said though, I am a changed person now. Still I guess my old self helped me deal with my team mates. We carried on with my plan which was to use whistles while we danced and loads of props that would catch the attention of the judges. The steps and difficulty of the dance was one main thing, but having to use props was also another.

I'm so happy that we weren't having classes on Monday. The school made it a day off for us so we could rest. Bless the people running our school.

As usual, I'm spending my Saturday at home. But now, it's not so boring as it was before. I've been talking to Matt a lot lately and he seems like a pretty great guy. It helps that we're only a few hours apart because that means that I don't have to stay up too late. Well, for me at least. He's been staying up late talking to me. Lol. I kind of pity him. He's a night owl (like me) but he's been denying himself of sleep because he says he wants to talk to me. Now I don't really like the idea of someone staying up late just for me, but for him particularly, I don't mind at all. It makes me feel kind of special.

ding!

Speaking of the devil, I just received a message from him.

Matt: Hey

Romina: Hi :)

Matt: What are you doing? Got any homework?

Romina: Nope. Cheer dance competition just finished not much school work for me. Haha.

Matt: Ok. Great. I have to tell you something...

Now what could he possibly tell me? He sounds so serious (not that I could hear him talking but you get me). "I have to tell you something"? Lol seriously, what bullshit is he trying to pull off?

My phone vibrated again, signifying that I had a message but it wasn't from him, it was from my team mate, Ali.

Hey Captain! Don't forget about our victory party tonight! I also booked a room for us and the girls. Let's spend the night at the hotel. Consider this my advance birthday party as well! :) see ya x

Oh crap! I totally forgot that tonight was our victory party and now apparently, also a birthday sleepover with Ali and Almira! They're twins and I've been close friends with them since I was in kindergarten. We all used to go to the same ballet school until I stopped attending the classes. Let's just say that I discovered that I wasn't as flexible as I thought I was.
