The Upside-Down

Then we entered the gate. 

We got in and Nancy immediately panicked and ran to Steve. he was being attacked by some bat-like creature.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!" I scream, I watch as Robin grabs a stick and Eddie follows shortly after. I watch for a second and grab a stick as well.

Robin, Eddie, and I start holding off the bats while Nancy helps Steve. We eventually scare them off.

"What is this place?" I ask.

"The upside down" Nancy said

"It's basically Hawkins but run down and filled with monsters" Steve followed. "We better get out of her while we can.

As he said that more bats start heading are way. We all look at each other and begin running. We get up to Skull rock and hide under there until the bats fly over.

"So, what do we do now?" I ask.

"Weapons, I have guns. In my bedroom" Nancy said.

"You, Nancy wheeler, have guns, pural, in your bedroom?" Eddie said looking her up and down. I kinda smiled, I didn't know Eddie could be that sassy.

"Ah!" Steve winced behind us. We all flipped around and saw him falling to the ground on the wall.

Nancy rushed over to his side. I stayed at a distance with Eddie and Robin. Robin looked scared and Eddie was looking at me. I didn't notice until I glanced away from Nancy and Steve.

I smiled at him wondering what's going threw his head, he just kept staring. I looked away to Steve's wines.

"Do you think thos bats can cause rabies?" Robin asked. "Cause rabies are like my number one fears and if so we should get you to a doctor ASAP."

"He'll be fine, but we need to get to my house."Nancy said and she began walking into the trees.

There was a Jean jacket thrown in front of me. "For your modesty" Eddie said to Steve. He put on the jakect and we headed off.

Nancy and Robin in front of me and Eddie and Steve behind me. I can here both conversations, but I was really focused on Eddied words.

"I don't know, but what ever you had with Wheeler, I'd get it back."Eddie said.

Steve chuckled, "Oh yeah, but what about Y/N? I saw the way you looked at her by the rock" Steve said.

There was silence for a few moments, "I like her I really do, but I don't know how she feels about me? You know?" Eddie said.

I smiled and

"Just make your move. Ask her what her favorite song is, her hobbies, her favorite color or flower?" Steve said.

Just then we felt a huge earthquake, Steve grabbed Nancy and Eddie grabbed me. Robin huddled to the ground.

After the earthquake we where all on the ground. Eddie had his arm around me holding me close. I'm not sure what it was but I loved it.

Eddie got up brushed himself off and helped me up. I took his hand I heard Steve's light giggle behind me but I didn't care. I stared into Eddie's porcelain eyes.

"Come on love bugs, we gotta keep moving" Robin stated as she moved forward.

I walked with Nancy now, Eddie and Steve still behind us. Robin lead the way, "guys!" We heard Robin call from a decent distance ahead of us.

We ran up to her and spotted Nancy's house.

"There it is" Nancy said pausing in her tracks.

Eddie walked beside me as we trailed, his hand lightly brushing mine every once in a while, My heart skipping a beat every time.

We walked threw the front door and looked around the corroded house. I could tell it bothered Nancy seeing her house like this. We walked up stairs and into her room, I looked around as she got her guns.

"Those aren't guns?" Eddie said looking and her.

"What? How they are always in this box" she said throwing the shoe.

She made observations, "this should be filled with entries?" She said we're in the past"

"DUSTIN!!" Harrington yelled from downstairs.

We all ran down the steps and into the family room. "What are you yelling at?" Robin said

"Dustin, he is in the walls or something." He said, "listen"

We all went quiet, I heard a mumble and we all started yelling.

"Guys, if vecna can control light from the upside down into the real world, can't we?" Nancy said.

We all touched the light in the dining room, it worked. Dustin yelled at us to meet him in Nancy's room

We went back upstairs, Dustin 'showed up' with a light board.

"Okay, try it" Dustin said

Nancy put her hand threw the light mist, we heard happy squeals.

"Yes!" Eddie said grabbing my hand.

I looked down and smiled.

We communicated with Dustin but I was so focused on Eddie and his hand I didn't really hear anything.

We ran out side, Eddie only parting our hands as we got the bikes. Eddie rode on my side glancing at me every once in a awhile.

When we got to his trailer we ditched the bikes and ran inside. We saw something on the other side of the portal. It was Dustin, we laughed and Dustin threw a sheet threw, to my surprise it stood there. I climbed in after Robin. And when it came to Nancy she stood there.

"Come on Nancy, wake up please!" Steve said laying her head in his arms.
