Chapter six -

Han waited patiently half hidden behind a tree several yards from the campus cafe. One arm was wrapped against his body, his hand anxiously scratching at the other as he stared ahead. Seungmin was clearly irritated, tapping his foot in the dirt pointedly as if that would make him move. His friend's agitation hardly bothered him, his only focus being on the students going in and out of the shop.

"We are going to be late to class." Seungmin groaned checking his watch for the hundredth time.

"No, we're not. I know you got us here in plenty of time. You're neurotic about being early."

"Are you really going to start calling me neurotic? Because stalking someone definitely makes you more neurotic."

"Please," Han scoffed. "This is hardly stalking." he perked up at a flash of light brown hair and immediately deflated when it wasn't who he was expecting.

"It's been thirty minutes and you're hiding behind a tree."

"It's called surveillance."

"It's called insane. He isn't coming."

"Yes, he is." Seungmin sighed at Jisung's confidence. He had been adamant the entire time that Lee Minho would show up. Allegedly, he felt it. The secretary had tried everything in his power to distract his boss from pursuing the alpha to no avail. There was no excuse good enough, no distraction large enough to direct Han Jisung's attention away from Minho.

Seungmin's own anxiety had increased tenfold since their conversation last night, and it certainly didn't help that they were expected at the estate tonight. Would Doctor Kim recognize the omega traits Han suddenly possessed? There was no denying the subtle changes that were like sirens to Seungmin.

The color of his eyes had grown lighter, a caramel brown, than the reddish hue they used to have. Even his scent was more prominent although Seungmin had always been able to differentiate it from everyone else. Today, as Jisung pondered over his outfit for nearly an hour and a half, Seungmin had noticed the staff reacting to the spike of happiness each time he thought of Minho. He was releasing pheromones, omega pheromones, and if the staff weren't sworn by a non-disclosure agreement Seungmin would have gone into cardiac arrest.

Han's gasp jerked him to the present and he looked up to see the bane of his existence striding across campus.

"Han, please-" Jisung turned grabbing Seungmin's forearms with an elated expression.

"Stay here."

"Are you crazy?!"

"I just need five minutes, okay? Once I get his number we can go to class I promise!"

"No way. I'm coming or you don't see him period." Han pouted his eyes darkening at the threat.

"I helped you get San's number yesterday."

"I never asked you too."

"You were practically drooling over him, I did you a favor without you asking. That's what friends do."

"I-I wasn't drooling." Seungmin stammered ears turning pink at the implication. "He was nice!" Jisung smirked raising his eyebrows.

"Right, nice, okay."

"Fine, five minutes, just make it quick." he hated himself for giving in, but he would do anything to avoid talking about his idiotic behavior with San. Jisung grinned patting his arms before turning towards the cafe. Minho was nearly at the door, eyes straight ahead, and hands in his pockets.
