Chapter 34

"Day after, Day before"

Xiao's POV:

I woke up in a different position than i was in before Aether and I have falle asleep. I had my hands wrapped around his waist, while he had his hands wrapped around me, resting on my upper shoulder.

Aether's face was calm during his sweet little slumber. Compare to the face he had yesterday during his "panic attack" or what would you call it, i liked to look at this face of his way better.

Aether's eyes suddenly opened, my eyes widened quickly after stopping to analize his face and notice his now opened, sparkling eyes. I felt like i was about to explode cause of the embarrassment, so before i could, i quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be sleeping still.

Aether after a tiny bit of silence began to slowly giggle. Soon i felt something soft touching my nose. I opened my eyes to see Aether planting a gentle, soft kiss on it and pull away with a smile.

"I saw you~ It's pointless for you to try and pretend your asleep." - A

He said after he placed his hand up above his head and placing it under his head, his hand probably touching his back, his other hand from my back sliding up to my cheek to hold onto it.

I rolled my eyes and began to slightly smile towards him and follow his motions. We locked our eyes, creating an eye contact that i, to be honest, never wanted to leave.

"You feel better?" - X

I began to caress his face with my thumb as i asked.

"Mhm! Thank you Xiao." - A

He closed his eyes, his lips curling up into a big, wide smile, light tint on his cheeks appearing, adding the finishing touch to his adorable smile. That smile just threw me off guard, making me flushed.

"Y-you're... welcome i guess.." - X

I turned my eyes to my side, avoiding to create eyecontact with the blonde again.

"Hey, is everything alright?" - A

"Oh, yes... but i've got to go get ready for school." - X

"I wish you could stay but... sure.. Go get ready." - A

I saw as he released my face with his hand and turned around, turning his back on me after making a sad, disappointed face. I after a bit i got up slightly, moving forward him out of nowhere, with my hand moved his braided hair aside, giving myself space to his neck. I attacked his neck with soft kisses and cause of that he out of nowhere let out a quiet but lewd whimper. I acted like as if i never heard it and spoke.

"When i'm back... how about we go out?" - X

The room turned silent for a while as i was waiting for the other's awnser.

"Go out..? As in?" - A

He asked, turning around.

"A date i suppose... We never had that anywa-" - X

I got cut in half as he placed his index finger ontop of my lips, shutting me up immediately.

"I don't think... that's the best idea because you know... i'm kinda on the wanted list?" - A

He said as he reached for the back of his neck, awkwardly.

"You can disguise yourself." - X

He leaned closer to me and grabbed my hips, looking into my eyes as a smug smile erupted his face.

"On our first date, i don't wanna hide anything from you.~" - A

"Huh?... That sounded kinda..." - X

"H-Hehehehey! Don't bring it out of context okay?.. Pervert." - A

He said and then released me, got up from the bed and stretched while yawning. After he put his arms down he looked slightly back and said in a silent tone.

"Xiao.. You should start getting ready." - A

"Shut up. I'm on it." - X

I said as i sat up quickly, rolling my eyes, then heading for my closet, getting ready to suffer in the desk.

All day i could only think about activities we could do with Aether when i get home, just so i could make this day the best of his in his entire life. From my point of view this mindset was truely strange. Since when i became caring so much about others?

I was exiting the main building of Celestia Academy with the brown haired Hu Tao and the dark blue haired Xingqiu, just walking, my mind full of a list of ideas. Our calm walk ended with a sudden attack, causing me to fall over, my back hitting the ground, something putting pressure on me after i heard a yelling saying:

"Xiao!! I missed you!!" - A

I realized immediately who it was when i took a look at their face, noticing an adorable, innocent and infinitely happy smile.

"Ow... H-Huh?! Aether?! Why did you attack me like that?!" - X

I asked, holding onto my head. His reaction to that was that he quickly pulled away from me, using his hand as leverage, his eyes widening and being covered in a worried face expression.

"I'm sorry! A-are you okay? Are you hurt?" - X

He cupped my head between his two hands, leaning in closer.

"Just.. why did you do this?" - X

"I missed you so much! I'm sorry!" - A

I let out a silent "tsk", quickly cupping his head right after and forcing his lips on top of mines. He pulled away gasping for air, one of his hands covering his opened lips.

"Stop apologizing... I missed you too." - X

"Ooo~" - H

Hu Tao teased us and that's when the realization hit me hard that we weren't alone. I felt as i began to feel more and more embarrassed, my cheeks beginning to tint.

"Shut up Hu Tao." - X

Aether got off of me and i quickly did as well, grabbing his hand tightly and beginning to run away with him into the distance, heading for the city with an incredible speed.
