Chapter 40

Aether's POV:

"Don't.... P-Please... let me go." - A

I tried speaking during my sobs as i saw the 4th leaning towards the dagger that was inplaced the belt that was holding down my stomach from moving with a strange bottle of a chemical mixture. Albedo, ignoring my begging opened the bottle and was beginning to place the bottle to the dagger.

I sat up and suddenly found myself in my room. I looked around silently and soon i noticed how my sight was burried, that made me realize that my eyes were fooded with tears. I brought my hand to my eye and got rid of the reason why my sight was blurry in a single swipe.

Soon i heard my room's door burst open and a yelling heard from somebody i did not expect to see early on the morning.

"AETHER! ARE YOU OKAY?!" - X

I quickly turned my sight to the door and as quick as i did so, that quick did our eyes find their way to meet eachother, creating an eye connection. We kept silent for a while and just examined eachother's eyes. Soon i quickly looked away and covered my lips with one of my hands.

"I am... Sorry for waking you up... it was just a dream..." - A

Xiao just stared at me with pity. After some minutes has passed of the dark haired just staring at me, i spoke up.

"Won't you leave?..." - A

At the hearing of that his eyes immediately widened, him snapping back to reality.

"OH!.. My bad... I'm going." - X

He turned around, grabbing the door handle and beginning to make his way outside. But before he managed to close the door, he turned to my way and spoke.

"Hey Aether..." - X

"Mn?" - A

I asked as i snapped my sight at him as my brows arised. He at that flashed a light smile towards my face and said what he wanted.

"Let's talk after the other's left." - X

The way he smiled at me just made me flushed, i felt like he was teasing me, making me feel like i'm a lower rank. Or no... making me feel like he's planning something. I couldn't help myself but turn red from head to toe and burry my face in my two hands.

"S-sure..." - A

Soon i heard the door shut, taking this as an opportunity to take a look at it. No one was there anymore, as expected. I let out a sigh and slowly slid to the side of the bed to stare out of my head just for a bit unintentionally.

When i realised i raised my eyebrows and then shook my head. I got up and headed to the closet, getting ready. When i finished tying up my hair i went downstairs to see the others just finishing eating and standing up from the desk.

"Oh, Good morning!" - E

Ei spoke as she noticed me walk down the stairs that were behind Xiao.

"Hello! Heading to work?" - A

"Yep. Just finished eating." - C

The ginger spoke as he picked up his backpack.

"Have fun at work!!" - A

I waved to the three and soon the entrance door closed, leaving only Xiao and i in the living room, him not giving me a single glance.

"So what did you want to talk about?" - A

Slowly he turned around, his lips tightly put against eachother, his cheeks tinted with a strong blush. The sight of him was so admireable. I didn't knew he could look so breakable and adorable at the same time. I gave him a soft smile but at that immediate moment his eyes widened and quickly looked away from me, to his side.

"I miss you Aether." - X

He spoke under his nose, making me giggle a little bit and giving me the urge to tease him for a little bit.

"I'm right here tho, what do you mean?~" - A

His sight quickly snapped on me and turned grumpy quickly.

"You know that's not what i meant... I wanna kiss you like before... i miss your lips..." - X

My eyes opened wide, i felt butterflies in my stomach and i felt as my cheeks were getting hotter at the hearing of that.

"You do?..." - A

"Mn..." - X

Xiao nodded as an immediate reply. I slowly made my way towards him but with insane speed he was infront of me, holding both of my hands and looking into my eyes.

"Please, kiss me like before, Aether..." - X

He looked into my eyes with his passionate ones. He slowly released my hand and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"S-stop saying it like that... it's embarrassing..." - A

I said as i placed my arms on his shoulders nervously and looked to my side.

"I don't care..." - X

As i felt Xiao's lips against mine, i shuddered. His movement were so gentle when it came to lovely gestures. His kisses were soft but also passionate, his touches were light but enjoyable.

He began making firm movements against my lips, making my breath hitch out of shock. Soon he entered my mouth with his tongue and began swirling it around mine, causing me to moan quietly into the kiss. I didn't notice but he slowly began raising his leg and place it inbetwen mine, trying to pleasure me in some way.

I lightly began grinding on his leg and that just seemed to urge him to raise his leg even higher up. Out of suprise i moaned as our lips parted but he captured them once again, devouring them.

Soon he lowered his leg, pulled away, creating a string of saliva between my and his lips, looking into my eyes deeply.

"How can you be so seductive and beautiful?..." - X

My cheeks turned red, but i didn't have the energy to look away from him. With no reply i just dived in for another kiss. Or i would have, if he wouldn't have placed his index finger on my lips.

"Aether~ I think that was enough for now... we don't wanna go overboard yet right?~" - X

He spoke playfully, making my eyes widen.

"I'm sorry..." - A

"It's alright. How about we watch something?" - X

"Mh. Sure." - A

I smiled towards him, and he did the same. We hand in hand began to make our way to the couch, sit down, settle comfortably and begin to watch a movie on the tv.
