(Y/N)'s POV
"Where'd Laura say the car broke down again?" Clint asks, getting into the car. "It's right here." I pull out a GPS on my phone, pin-pointing the location. "You gonna call a tow-truck company?"

"Why? What for?"

"Are you not aware that your car is broken down in the middle of the road?"

"And... you and I are gonna fix it." Clint says, pointing out to a toolbox planted right in the middle of the backseat of the car. "You think imma help you fix the damn truck?" Clint nods in confidence.

"Okay, you're not wrong."

      "Alright

"Alright. Let's hit the road." I nod at him, locking the location on the GPS and driving off. The car ride is more or less quiet. We barely said a word to each other, but we were listening to song requests on the radio. But as that happens, we always seem to start a convo that leads to several others. I know, it's weird — but it works.

"🎶But if you like causin' trouble up in hotel rooms...🎶" I start to sing along to the 1D song that's playing on the radio, pointing at Clint. I signal him to finish the lyric, but he shakes his head. "Oh, c'mon."

"I don't do the singing."

"Of course, you do. C'mon, it's easy."

"Well, okay. Maybe just one line." Clint starts to sing along. Let me just take a minute to say — the man has the voice of an Angel. "🎶 And if you like midnight drivin' with the windows down...🎶" we both start to sing until we see Laura and the kids in the broken down truck.

"There they are."

"So I see." Clint and I exit the car, but not without him telling me to take the toolbox from the backseat. I do as he says and follow him to Laura and the kids. "Well, it's about time." Cooper snaps grumpily. Laura lights hits him, "Coop!"

"Sorry about the truck, honey."

"It's okay, hun. You're both here now. Thanks to you too, (Y/N)." I nod a 'you're welcome'. Laura then makes her way to Clint to give him a kiss. I just stood around, trying to look elsewhere.

       "Well

"Well... okay. Can we get back to fixing the truck now?" I ask. After all, Clint's the one who's making me fix the thing up with him in the first place.

"Right. Let's get to it. I'm gonna need your help here, Coop." Clint points towards Cooper, who groans while crossing his arms. "I'll give you fifteen bucks for it."

"Twenty."

As Clint negotiates with Cooper over payments, I, on the other, was screwing in the last piece for the truck to work properly.

       "Done."

I stand up and face the whole family. "What the?" Clint says, pointing at the car and then at me. "Surely you didn't think I'd be waiting for you to negotiate, did you?"

"Surely you didn't think I'd be waiting for you to negotiate, did you?"

"Really? It'd only been five minutes. Couldn't wait that long either?"

"Not really." I say, putting the tools back in the box. "Remind me to pay you for your work." Clint points out, looking at Cooper. "Oh, please." scoffs Cooper as he waved the whole thing off.

         "Okay, let's get back home."

Clint gets the kids to go into the car and I decide it'd be best if I talk to Laura. "Hey, Laura."

"(Y/N)! Hey." Laura greets me, giving me a warm motherly smile. "Hope we didn't make you wait too long."

"No, not at all. You know how Cooper is... the dramatic one." I nod, knowing Cooper's character. "Oh, good good. Hey, listen... I need your advice on something."

         "What's up?"
